My first Patagonia bag, and I'm impressed. I use it to hold my laptop because it has a little bit of cushioning on the back. It's really comfortable and can be adjusted depending on how much stuff is inside.

Patagonia Lightweight Black Hole® Cinch Pack 20L

I bought it because I was looking for a durable, lightweight, and practical backpack I could stash it with my clothes in my luggage when I travel. And this backpack fits the bill perfectly. 

It's extremely lightweight but the materials aren't flimsy. I love that I can just open up the bag and throw stuff in it without having to worry about zippers, velcro, or snap-ons. I like the front zipper pocket for things I need to access quickly. 

 And I'm not sure how long this draw cord will last with continuous use. I think the cord gets rubbed through the plastic piece pretty aggressively and it might wear out quicker than its intended use. Only time will tell.

Now Patagonie came up with the lightweight range for jest as the name says to keep things very, very light some people like to have, especially people spend a lot of time in the outdoors. Weight becomes a real premium and down to the gram and so this bag is a very clean, simple design with just a simple cinch top loading opening design. I kind of gear for people who are literally looking to get the blackk whole range of backpacks at the lowest possible weight

 With this pack dad, you're going to look to the easy, open and shut style of a climbing chalk bag. All you have to do is pull the draw cord closure and you've got open access to your main compartment. The open, highly breathable mesh shoulder straps and back panel with adjustable sternum strap make this super comfy. Micro daisy chains provide various lash points

 Weight becomes a real premium and down to the gram and so this bag is a very clean, simple design with just a simple cinch top loading opening design.  It's (probably) similar to the laminating procedure used to make rain shells. The TPU exterior laminate adds abrasion resistance and water repellency to the pack - it will never "soak out" (but this isn't water proof since the seams aren't treated). What is will do is repel all dog and cat fur (most packs attract fur and lint like magnets) and will never get soiled by dirty floors, conveyor belts, spilled food or sodas. Literally, just sponge wipe it clean (except for an untreated bottom patch)

The Achilles Heel of the Cinch Pack (and of the 26L panel loader) is the soft fabric/mesh back panel. It is a light gray, so it will soil. It is NOT waterproof or abrasion  resistant. It's not usually visible, either, and using the TPU laminate on the back panel would make it hot, sticky, and grab our shirts/jackets

 Clever - hard to explain and visualize, but the minute you check it out in person you will see what I mean. Personally, I can stow a lighweight (but still lined) windbreaker in here without the hassles and bulge that happen with flat panel slots.

The Cinch Pack is 17 ounces, the 26L panel loader is 19 ounces. The Cinch Pack, per Paty's published specs, is 32" for carryon "personal item" measurement purposes (sum of height, width, and thickness) while the 26L is 36", which is about the maximum size for a personal item on those airline websites that publish measurements.

Good for travel, acceptable for gym/city

Simplicity is best some times. Just like the KISS acronym keep it simple stupid. I have several day packs and find myself reaching for this one every time.

Ynot deploy (fails- barely fits a 15” laptop?). Topo designs standard pack and Bellroy classic backpack (fails- don’t meet personal item requirements).

 Here you got that nice topo bright, yellow inside really lights up the bag, so you can really see what's at the bottom, so you don't lose anything and then at the top we have another quick grab pocket here. This one kind of goes over the top of the bag, depending on how much you have it packed out. If you got these tightened down more, it's gon na lay a little bit flatter here, so you can have more access to it. Otherwise, it'll kind of be behind the back your neck, which is you know, not a bad spot for a more safety conscious people just so it's harder to get into it, while you're wearing it

 Then you're gon na have on the classic, and it's just got like a kind of like slick feel to it. So the water should bounce right off of that. But again as with all these the same sort of organization, you have you know the stretchy water bottle pockets and compression straps, although they are metal on this one. But it's all sort of the same and then in this middle pocket

 One and two, and then a small, a couple, little loops in front of that. If you want to like clip your keys to one of these just so they don't fall to the bottom of your pocket and then yeah. We have a couple smaller loops here on this other side, so a little bit of organization they're still not too much kind of keeps that minimal style while still having that more luxury feel and the back panel and shoulder straps on these are noticeably by a large Margin much more comfortable, it's really more thick dense, padding all over versus just having this kind of more like mesh. You know crunchy material, this real thick foam and so you'll kind of notice

 So, just a nice little day pack, we don't really need too much. As you can see, we just have a some mesh padding here, not the thickest, not the densest, but it'll get the job done. Unless you really load this thing out, then you may be wishing it had a little bit more, but for normal day to day use these do just fine and then up top. We just have a little grab handle here

Topo Designs Rover Pack Roundup Review (Tech, Mini, Premium, Original)

Still I wanted to pack as small and light as possible, not only to get through Ryanair's baggage restrictions, or to make moving around easier, but I enjoy trying to pack as light as possible. I settled on the 10.5L Topo Designs Trip Pack, which I usually just use to go to mates houses or if I need a bag while I'm out. I was quite surprised by how much I managed to fit into this bag, and I did have a tiny bit of space left at the top which I used for some bars I bought in the airport

 On this one here, I currently have the water bottle that I've been testing now recently. This is a nice insulated. Water bottle from wandered. It just has a really nice silhouette, it's very similar in size to the water bottle that you've seen in all my other daily bag videos and it fit in there pretty comfortably

 If you'd like to this strap here. Does not come off, but it easily Stowe's underneath here so just kind of note that again, I really want some elastic keepers here, just to kind of keep these straps those just like, hang down and your front and look a little crazy. So I wish they would have added that, but again kind of goes along with the style. Many different ways to carry this thing

 I do like when we do have some elastic going on appreciate that, but not the case here, we've closed that up not too big of a deal, but just something to note black topo designs, logo here on the front and then a little USA flag on the Bottom, to indicate that it's been made in the USA, small little lash strap here. So if you want to stick on like a bike light or something, if you're wearing this on your back, you can or just anything else you like with a carabiner moving on over. I'M just going to close up the top now, so I don't get distracted by it. There are two little handles here at the top

 If you just want to pull the zipper open and pull the zipper closed. Nice diagonal zipper here at the front. So if we open that up, you will see that there is. You know this little kind of red, keychain holder here and then some very fluorescent interior

 Here nice and beefy very pull able it looks like kind of like a snake or something like that. So these little red tabs here are nice to grab on to you. If you just want to pull the zipper open and pull the zipper closed. Nice diagonal zipper here at the front

 Show you in that in a second, so you've got this top one and then you've got this cinch strap here, which you can pull open to access inside um. But basically, if you wanted to fill this right up, higher you've got kind of this extra space. Here. This will this flap will just come over the top and then you can attach it

 I want to grab quickly on top just so that i can grab hold of that, and then i've got my jacket and then my tech pouch i'll just show you that right down the bottom. So because this is a big bucket, packing cubes tech, pouches do come in handy, especially if they have a handle as well. So you can just grab those, and then this is the inside big bucket, but it's that yellow interior. It makes it so so easy to access whatever you have in there, so it definitely comes in handy and then at the back is the laptop sleeve

 So, for example, let me just flip that back. Oh this, dual opening is i'll. Show you in that in a second, so you've got this top one and then you've got this cinch strap here, which you can pull open to access inside um. But basically, if you wanted to fill this right up, higher you've got kind of this extra space

 These are pretty tight, so you're not going to fit like a huge water bottle in there. But it's nice that they kind of compress back down, and then you can also see that we've got these compression straps at the side, which are super super easy to use and they do a good job at compressing the bag down. If you don't have much in it or you want to kind of make it a bit slimmer and the nice thing is because you've got two, it keeps the kind of overall look of the bag more kind of, even whereas, if you just have one sometimes the Bottom cinched in the top's huge, so it's nice to have that there we also use these to hold a tripod. So if you have large larger items that aren't going to fit inside this pack, then you can put them down the side cinch them in, and that worked really well, it's nice and secure okay
