Got this in the black, well constructed as expected with Patagonia. Only reason I gave it a 4 stars. Is the black on the model is none of the colors as advertised for sale It's straight black or blue as not shown on body. Great bag though, many trips could be had with this backpack

  After about a year a strap broke.  Made 5 separate attempts to contact Gregory to purchase replacement straps and no response from them at all.  Won’t buy Gregory products again, even though it’s the pack I want.

Great while it lasted

 A couple of things that were important for me when looking at about an 18 liter pack because I had another one I had just gone I was on sale and when I saw this for about the same price I said the other ones. going back it has these pockets here which for me I like for a snack but also for my phone. Now it was interesting today as I was wearing the pack and take my phone in and out of the pockets. It's a little bit more difficult cuz this is a this is the pixel for XL it's a bigger phone I think six and a half inches and gay into the pocket

 It's padded which is great and it gives it some kind of air flow so that's nice. Now this is what really I think really did it for me. As far as I like with my other Gregory pack I have a mesh backing allows my back to breathe. They have this bio sync system which is their airflow type system so it keeps your back whoo when walking

 Got to use it for the first time today as I just got it in the mail just the other day and it went to a most amazing state park. Cloudland Canyon State Park here in northern Georgia a couple of hours away from Atlanta take a look at this view, it's incredible! So yeah well it was. It was a great hike did about six miles and I will put a link to the other day pack that I have I have a thirty liter a day pack which I could probably get away with but I wanted something a bit smaller so I don't feel like I got this huge bag on me and it is a bit bigger and it works great! This is the 18 liter bag and I absolutely love it! I'm gonna put a link by the way in the description where you could read reviews and people are just loving it and wait till you see this day pack. Amazing! I Love what Gregory does! Everything's so customizable as I will show you but I'll put a link so you can see other colors

18L bag is quite small for casual hiking where I would recommend going to the 24L version unless you are under 5ft 5ins. I disliked the material in the top brain zip, its sticky and doesn't protect goods usually in those pockets. A good alternative would have been a microfiber cloth pocket material. #sweepstakes

Too small to hike with.

I wanted something that would mold to my body better for my run commute. I can put a change of clothes, spare warm gear, and a lunch in it. Hugs my body perfectly.

 Also, the old Sonoma had a double zippier on almost every pocket, this one has that for the main compartment only. I like the double zipper approach. It's faster and more efficient for getting to your stuff and closing.
