I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

The Patagonia Capilene Thermal Weight Zip-Neck quickly stood apart from the competition in terms of warmth and breathability. Our lead tester loves this layer as a stand-alone piece for efficiently shedding sweat accumulated on fall trail runs as well as the base of her cold weather kit while rock climbing during those crisp October nights. While not a thermal weight as advertised, the polyester blended fabric and micro-grid fleece interior gave a memorable performance in terms of exceptional breathability and moisture-wicking capabilities. 
Patagonia advertises a Polygiene odor control treatment for the Capilene Thermal, but we found this layer to retain body odor almost immediately, especially when used several days in a row. And while we appreciate the thumb loops in terms of layering ability, the low-quality construction &#40;basically just an elastic band&#41; doesn't inspire confidence they will last for the life of the base layer. That said, this layer offers excellent thermoregulation and breathability thanks to the air-permeable Polartec fabric and the long zip neck. These work together to effectively dump heat and excess sweat during those high-intensity mountain pursuits.

Bought specifically for skiing but used for everyday under layer in cold. Lightweight, good fit, comfortable. Wanted warmer layer but now have lighter under layer.

Wanted warmer but.....

The feather weight is deceiving, in that the warmth factor is very high.  The fit is good and it just feels right.  All pluses, no negatives for this base layer.

High Quality Patagonia clothing

Super comfortable, fits perfectly (M - 5'10 and 168 pounds). It did a great job at keeping me warm and also being breathable, I could wear this all day, everyday.

Very comfortable shirt, and have tried it for hiking, skiing, sleeping, and work (indoors and site) to try it in different situations - in my opinion, work well for all.

size L - Sleeves are long enough for me (6'+ wing span) as it actually ends at my wrist with a tough of extra length available, and body length is good.  Being tall, for me everything shrinks, and I've washed this once already but will only hang dry - did not change fit that I noticed. (I normally order Tall-Long when I can due to the shrink issue.)

I would not recommend the crew top at full price. However, if on sale you may want to size down with expectation of possible bagging out after wash.

 The crew top bagged out a lot to the point I am now swimming in it (fortunately half-zip relatively the same after wash).

Disappointed that the the details are not forthcoming and upfront about it being 80% Murano wool 20% polyamide, however it does feel nice and is double thickness so hopefully should be warm.

Not 100% Merino wool

I've had this top for over a year and have used it extensively for skiing, hiking, and even a little climbing.  The material feels great, and it's been an awesome base layer!  I've worn it as a base layer and even on it's own when I want a long sleeve shirt.  The cut isn't the type that feels like its hugging your waist or hips.  It feels like a regular T-shirt

The reason I'm rating it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the dye has reacted to sun exposure.  I bought mine in black and the neck area that is often open to the sun has turned a slight rusty orange color.  It doesn't matter to me, but I figured some people might be disappointed when there clothes start to change color.
