8 pounds. It'S not gon na win any comfort awards, but considering it's a packable duffel without any back padding, it's actually pretty decent. The shoulder straps are about as good as you're gon na get on a pack like this and to show you, i attached a sternum, strap from a different bag and it does help and again, like almost all these packable duffels. The black hole doesn't have any kind of back padding or air ventilation, but that's consistent

 It'S thick, durable, waterproof. This tpu coating makes it a little shiny, but it's quite a bit more flexible than fabrics with similar coatings. For example, the timbuk two bag has a tpu coating. However, it feels stiff and quite a bit more plasticky than the black hole fabric

 They don't cut corners with materials and hardware, it's rugged, durable lightweight and has a huge main compartment. I see these things all the time in the airport when i travel and if you like this style of duffel, this is likely going to be one of your go-to travel duffels and considering the quality on this thing, the price that i paid for it 129.  The sizing is about half the size of a normal roller bag. It will fit in the overhead of (delta/American Airlines/United), and if it’s not super full you might be able to get it under the seat.

 I have a Rothco duffle bag, but decided to get a Herschel since I love the backpack that I have from them. Now I wasn't sure if to get the regular Sutton duffle or go with the mid volume Sutton. I went with the mid volume because it was on sale, and hopefully it would be enough to hold everything. I test fitted everything today and this is what it fits

 This is obviously a very subjective topic that varies widely from person to person. However, in my opinion, this color scheme looks phenomenal as it doesn't stand out, but it still maintains a high quality look and if you don't like this color scheme, there's a wide variety to pick from.  So when i saw the herschel novel duffel bag had a net, i was skeptical at first, as i wasn't sure it would do a good job of keeping my things separated. However, in practice it does a great job, as ever since i got the bag, i haven't had any issues with my belt getting mixed up in my other clothes or anything else. I was trying to keep separate next. The quality of this product is great, as per usual with any herschel product

 I found myself needing a place to put dirty shoes separate from clean clothes and a place to put a belt. So it's separate from the other stuff and after a lot of searching, i came across the herschel novel duffel bag and it had an internet separate place for shoes. Nice, styling and herschel is a reputable band. I'Ve had positive experiences with so, despite it being a bit expensive, i decided to go ahead and spend the money and hope for the best most important to me was the functionality as if it cannot do what i need it to do

It was alright

 I've only used this daily for about 6 months carrying a textbook and a set of gym clothes and the stitching at the shoulder handles are already ripping.

  However, the quality is just terrible. The shoulder strap squeaks so much when you're walking. I originally thought that this wouldn't be a problem, but when you have to walk several blocks in the city with this on your shoulder, it gets very irritating. Also, the straps are poorly sewn

My husband bought this for me as a gift and I love it. I have the brown one with flowers and it is too cute. I've used it for a carry on on a plane and for weekend trips and it's definitely sturdy. A+ :)
