The material on this vest was very flimsy and I was not impressed with the durability of the fabric. The vest sized smaller than large, and was too snug for a 200 pounder like me. REI was very good to accept the return.

On this hat I try and tuck the neck cape up behind the tensioning strap when I don't need it and want to feel the breeze.

I still sort of like it but would have preferred whats in the pic. I suppose I’ll still keep it. Also, runs a little small. Need to drop 5 lbs to be cozy

It's comfortable, it does it's job, it folds flat for packing and I would not hesitate for a second to buy another one if anything happened to this. Thank you Sunday Afternoons.

I never thought I would buy a vest, but I was goaded by my wife who has a big puffy. This one caught my eye because of its beefy fill power. When I took it out of the bag, my first thought was that it was actually meant as a really thin layering piece. Boy, was I wrong! After fluffing it for a few minutes and leaving it out overnight, the vest showed its true colours

Not a problem. This color is also the right color for me: it is sort of a grey blue, and the trim on the edges does not stand out as much as it did in the photo, which I like. It is a somewhat neutral color that will not get dirty too quickly. My one concern is how it looks after a lot more sweat sits on it for a longer period of time, but as a bald man this is a problem I have with all hats

The chest pocket is zippered and has an inside mesh pocket for small items. Great design OR! Sizing is true. If you are looking for a down vest- check this one out!!!

I had a regular medium size adventure hat before, which was the perfect size, but it was taken after I accidentally left it at a facility one day. I thought if I was ordering another one, I may as well go for the upgrade, but this one seems to be half the size of the original. The brim is way smaller.
