Osprey Fairview Trek 50 Pack - Women's vs Matador SEG42

If you’re going for a week or more, especially in cold weather, or need to bring along photography equipment, snorkeling gear, or just about anything else the larger size might be the safer bet since it can always be cinched down for smaller loads. This pack easily fits into all but the smallest regional jet overhead bins since it squishes down. I do like to have the pack cover on to keep the straps clean when I put it through the scanner at security or in the overhead bin. I miss the integrated hide away straps from the Fairview although these straps are much more structured and could work for hiking
