It's also means have to keep more things in the main compartment, all jumbled together. But, if my deal-breakers aren't important to you, it may be a great bag. The straps are well-designed, and the laptop pocket is padded. I've been carrying my laptop in an older Osprey bag which has a very similar pocket without padding (probably not originally designed for a laptop) and I do really like that bag

I wasn't going to use this bag as a daypack. Instead, I just wanted something that was comfortable to carry things from one place to the other. I am SO glad that I went head and purchased this anyways. This bag is the most comfortable backpack I have ever used and the pockets are amazing

Pros: Very well ventilated shoulder straps and backing. Sleek design with nice cinch straps. Nice size main compartment and mid pocket. Zippers don't snag and seem of very good quality with pull attachments on each zipper(very nice not chintzy)

Love the tear-away zipper tabs. Makes getting into the bag super convenient and save a lot of time, when you just want to get into your stuff and on with your vacation. Too bad there's no option to do it in reverse. Material is very thin, but expandable
