 It was too small for me. I’m 6’3” and according to my friend it looked like I “couldn’t afford to buy a whole backpack”. 2. The quick release locking feature on the left strap (used to loop your bag around a chair leg or table while in busy places to avoid theft) was not quick or easy to use the little hook loop was really stiff and took a few minutes to get back in correctly

Great addition to Osprey’s Lineup

 It is very small, however, so it's best suited for the minimalist, over someone who likes to carry all sorts of "just-in-case" things (like me).

3 pounds, and has a capacity of just 10L. Most of my other backpacks are between 18.5 and 20 inches tall and average about 30L. I was shocked that I could actually fit a 13-inch MacBook Air inside of the small Arcane

A premium backpack for the minimalist

 So you can hold this even when the bag is a little bit heavier and then moving into the capacity the bag comes in at about 20 liters, which is a really great daily bag size. In my opinion, i was able to hold all the items that i normally like to carry with me and i still had some leftover space and i love that when the bag was more packed out, it still maintained a really slim silhouette, which made it great for Navigating credit areas jumping onto public transit and carrying on to pretty much any domestic and international airline, taking a look at the straps and the back pedaling so far, the bag has been pretty comfortable to wear. I like how the straps have been implemented here. They have a nice soft and thick padding

 They'Re. Just very functional, looking they're great for the outdoors for travel, but for everyday carry. I like a more minimally styled bag, such as offerings from bellroy, air, mystery ranch or evergoods, and so i was very excited to see osprey, throw their hat into the mix with the arcane day pack.  So if you didn't know, Ykk is the Japanese manufacturer and is the largest manufacturer for zippers in the whole world. Um, so I mean if you know anything about quality, then you can rest assured if if the thing is made in Japan, in which case, all the zippers from this bag are Ykk, I don't really see anything going wrong with them for the life of the bag. And um, one thing that uh, Osprey is really good for is they, um, they have a lifetime warranty, so if anything breaks on the bag, any zipper, or if there's any tears in the bag, they will repair it. Most people are probably going to use this bag for, you know, everyday use, but the reason why I bought it is just to carry an extra outfit when I'm on the go

 so I guess fun fact of the review. But other than that, I mean taking a look at the hardware here, there isn't too much. There is a main zipper here and it's a really durable zipper. This thing is a a J style zipper

However if I were to go on a hike, this would be the first pack I grab no doubt!) -Zippers are high quality and do not jam  Lastly this is the most comfortable back pack I have ever owned. The way the straps connect over the neck before connecting with the bag helps distribute the weight over your entire shoulders. The chest buckles helps move the packs weight forward and makes it feel like the back pack is part of you and less of a bother

Worth the Money!

This has all the right features that looked for. Not "in your face" amounts of Molle, Compression straps, hydration bladder compartment/lockable concealed carry compartment, side pouches, sunglasses case, laptop compartment, tiedown straps, small organization pockets, and the zipper opens all the way down. Durable and breathes, has a stow-able hip strap, chest strap, carry handle.  It takes me a long time to find things like backpacks because I need to pick the right one but this one fits the bill

 But for $100 you're getting I think a great setup and great durability and I do want to thank Kenai Gear for reaching out to me contacting me. You know I had seen them in a magazine actually that I was checking out and didn't you know really even think about it again and I was like man I ought to check those guys out at some point and about a week later I got an email from them and they wanted to see if we wanted to do some reviews on a couple of their gear items and I appreciate their willingness to reach out to us and send this over for us to test out in review and give you the full rundown and all the pros and cons so just wanted to touch on that. But for $100 you get know a lot of capability and a lot of durability out of this pack. And so folks as we wrap up this video and just kind of give you my final thoughts on the pack, you know it has a lot of things going for it I Love the price point I like the layout and I love some of those you know hiking day pack features that you don't see in a lot of assault packs like the water bottle sleeves and the tracks and things like that

 so it's definitely I would say I'm like the maximum size for it as we've discussed. you know if you're over six - and about two hundred pounds I'd say that you know maybe one of their larger packs that they design would be a better fit for you. but if you're my size are smaller, this has a lot of features and hitting a great price point that I think you'd be very happy with if you're into this kind of style of this hybrid assault pack day pack. I (mostly) love this bag. After a short while, the front pocket zipper unraveled and I stopped using that pocket. I’ve owned the bag for 10 months and otherwise enjoy it’s use daily (light duty). I just sat down to attempt a repair and find that the entire Zipper is too badly frayed for stitching

Front-pocket zipper has come unraveled in less than a year

College student using this and loves it. Protects laptop really great. Paid about $35 more for one at an "outdoor gear" store and was happy to find this on Amazon when I needed another one.
