Osprey Aether Plus 60 Pack - Men's vs Pacsafe Venturesafe X

I'm looking for tips on his/where to pack a larger tent. Me, the fiance, and it two did will be taking a 2-3 day trip out into the national forests up here in Michigan this upcoming weekend. I opted for a four person tent to accommodate the three space hogs, but I'm having trouble packing it where it won't put to much strain on my collarbone.

My only complaints are that: I wish the laptop sleeve was against the body instead of on the outermost pocket of the bag, that outermost pocket should unzip all the way, and (ideally haha) it'd be a bit lighter (it's about 3.8lbs, which isn't the worst but definitely isn't the lightest).

Compared to my ancient external frame backpack I’ve had for years, this backpack is literally a game changer. The range and ease of adjustability makes it simple to get the fit just right. Of course, if you are traveling and locking them every time you access the sling, this won't be a big deal. But if, like me, you plan on using this pack as a daily carry and don't always want to lock it, the zippers can get annoying. The outer mesh pocket uses a J-hook closure, but even with a standard water bottle in the pocket, you can no longer closer the hook, which means it just kind of dangles as you walk (see the picture). This makes anything you put in the pocket feel less secure and just kind of looks sloppy
