I'm looking for tips on his/where to pack a larger tent.  Me, the fiance, and it two did will be taking a 2-3 day trip out into the national forests up here in Michigan this upcoming weekend.  I opted for a four person tent to accommodate the three space hogs, but I'm having trouble packing it where it won't put to much strain on my collarbone.

Tips for packing larger tents.

  Compared to my ancient external frame backpack I’ve had for years, this backpack is literally a game changer. The range and ease of adjustability makes it simple to get the fit just right. This is both good and bad because the pack is so easy to carry that I’m no longer tempted to keep the load as lightweight as possible!  Yes, there are lighter options out there. But I’ll gladly trade a slight amount of weight for comfort and convenience

 You'Ve got lower side compression as well. If you need to cinch down the gear in your pockets, you've also got to front compression straps, so one at the top and one at the bottom, and that's going to really allow you to squeeze the gear and really stabilize your load. If, for some reason, you have a much smaller load than what the pack is capable of, you've got two curious little buckles on the side here, so one at the top - that's just kind of there, one at the very bottom at the base of that stretch, pocket And those clips are to take the front straps, extend them around the pack and clip them in to compress a really small load. So you can really get this thing, nice and small and tight if you're not using the full 60 liters

 You have something that's buried, you don't need to dig in through the top. You can just get to it from the side and we have sleeping bag access so at the bottom, you've got two removable sleeping pad straps you can leave those at home if you're, not using them or you can use them to compress other gear and you've got A sleeping bag compartment there is a divider in there, so you can remove that divider or drop it in the case that you want to use this as a single large capacity pack. But if you want that separation, you can have it there. It'S quick and it's, the hood of the pack also can be completely removed and used as a separate day pack

 So it's kind of a curved a zipper here. It'S going to allow you to get to those middle contents quickly and easily, so very simple, very easy access to your other items.  In with it, it's a really durable rip, stop material. So it's not just that mesh, so it's a lot less likely to get snagged on branches or thorns or anything like that. You get a nice rip, stop layer in there as well another benefit. You can access things from the top, so traditional water bottle style or if you need to put other gear in there, but you can also throw in your water bottle at an angle to access that easily, while you're hiking
