I'm looking for tips on his/where to pack a larger tent.  Me, the fiance, and it two did will be taking a 2-3 day trip out into the national forests up here in Michigan this upcoming weekend.  I opted for a four person tent to accommodate the three space hogs, but I'm having trouble packing it where it won't put to much strain on my collarbone.

Tips for packing larger tents.

  Compared to my ancient external frame backpack I’ve had for years, this backpack is literally a game changer. The range and ease of adjustability makes it simple to get the fit just right. This is both good and bad because the pack is so easy to carry that I’m no longer tempted to keep the load as lightweight as possible!  Yes, there are lighter options out there. But I’ll gladly trade a slight amount of weight for comfort and convenience

Legendary Osprey quality with tons of thoughtful features

 You'Ve got lower side compression as well. If you need to cinch down the gear in your pockets, you've also got to front compression straps, so one at the top and one at the bottom, and that's going to really allow you to squeeze the gear and really stabilize your load. If, for some reason, you have a much smaller load than what the pack is capable of, you've got two curious little buckles on the side here, so one at the top - that's just kind of there, one at the very bottom at the base of that stretch, pocket And those clips are to take the front straps, extend them around the pack and clip them in to compress a really small load. So you can really get this thing, nice and small and tight if you're not using the full 60 liters

 You have something that's buried, you don't need to dig in through the top. You can just get to it from the side and we have sleeping bag access so at the bottom, you've got two removable sleeping pad straps you can leave those at home if you're, not using them or you can use them to compress other gear and you've got A sleeping bag compartment there is a divider in there, so you can remove that divider or drop it in the case that you want to use this as a single large capacity pack. But if you want that separation, you can have it there. It'S quick and it's, the hood of the pack also can be completely removed and used as a separate day pack

 So it's kind of a curved a zipper here. It'S going to allow you to get to those middle contents quickly and easily, so very simple, very easy access to your other items.  In with it, it's a really durable rip, stop material. So it's not just that mesh, so it's a lot less likely to get snagged on branches or thorns or anything like that. You get a nice rip, stop layer in there as well another benefit. You can access things from the top, so traditional water bottle style or if you need to put other gear in there, but you can also throw in your water bottle at an angle to access that easily, while you're hiking

 One of the main features of this bag that Osprey promote is how durable it is and I will 100 second that. so on our most recent hike at Hinchenbrook, there is a lot of weight a while vines like those very spiky, skin tearing plants and although my sleeping mat took a bit of a hammering, this bag survived with very little damage. I'm really happy with my kite Osprey pack and I definitely recommend it for anybody who's doing day hikes or they want a smaller multi-day hike bag like myself. I even take it rock climbing

 There's um, gear loops that go all the way and then you've got the stronger ones at the bottom. And I found when we were walking, especially in those wet conditions that we'd swap our socks and we could clip them on. I could also clip on, um, our solar panel either to the back of the bag or the front of my straps, depending where the sun was. My other favorite feature was the ergonomic back, so obviously it's comfy, but the second is you get these air flow so you don't get sweaty back when you're walking in 90 humidity which is gross and everybody hates that so that was definitely a favorite feature

 You can adjust the torso length and then you've also got your regular strap adjustments here. There's some great features about this bag, which I used on our latest trail, which was Hinchenbrook um, which is up north, uh, off the coast of Cardwell and it gets very wet up there in Northern Queensland and this bag did great in the weather. So you've got the inbuilt backpack cover here, which we used a heap which literally you just put on and then pull the tag at the bottom and you're good to go. I also found when we did a lot of creek crossings, we did a couple that were fairly deep

. As you see on the back here, you've got a lot of different options. You can adjust the torso length and then you've also got your regular strap adjustments here. A little bit. Okay, hey guys, I'm Emily with Wilder and today I'm just going to talk about my hiking bag. The Kite 46 from Osprey Packs. This is the bag

 You could put that in the bottom. But this pocket opens up nice and wide got a sleeping pad tucked away in there, and you also have an included rain cover with this pack. So that adds a lot of value. You don't have to buy one separately that rain cover is hidden away in this pocket down here

 So it's not going to heat up a lot there on your back and then you have a lot of mesh. It'S kind of tensioned mesh right on front on the front of that airscape back panel. So you have a lot of breathability, but that also offers some lightweight rigidity to the pack as well a really comfortable back panel. It'S definitely going to move with you and it's a great design there behind the shoulder, harness you've got wide open mesh as well and plenty of padding there something that I really like it's a small attention to detail, but it matters if you're wearing this pack for Long periods of time, they've taken the the seams on the shoulder, harness and they've put them around to the front of the shoulders

 Obviously you've got this stretchy dump pocket in the front. I'Ve got an extra layer stored in there and then going to the bottom. You do have removable straps here, so you can take those off if you want to, you can put a sleeping pad down there or whatever you'd like, and then that opens up into your lower compartment. You could put a sleeping bag in here or, if you just need to compartmentalize, maybe some wet gear, or something like that

 So really nice big stretchy pockets. This is a top loading pack. So if I remove the lid, I've got kind of a hidden pocket back here and then this opens up to a really nice wide open pocket. So really big cavernous pocket there with some with a strap there on the top, so really easy access into the top of your pack, and then they have added a really nice zipper here on the side, this zipper is going to allow you access into the middle And in towards the bottom of your pack - and it's just a really great feature that adds a lot of access and adds a lot of convenience to the pack and it tucks away really nicely with that clean line

 But you can put your sleeping bag in and out of here. Then down here you might see a zipper. This is where the backpack actually comes with a rain fly which is really awesome. So it's stored down here and you can just pull it up over your pack which is really cool

 so the panel actually isn't for another like three inches in here. So you're not feeling any paneling or any sort of hardness on your back. It's just this mesh which you don't feel at all. and that same goes for the hip belt

 The other thing that doesn't work well for me is that I'm in between sizes. So this is a medium and I'm in between a small and a medium. So the medium is actually a little too big for me as you can see, I have it at the smallest size and the small is actually just a little bit too small for me. It has these hip belts

 Great Great backpack. The only thing is the fit. just make sure it fits you really well. It doesn't really work for the shape that my back is, but everything else about it is really awesome
