 You don't usually see a piano with this big of a sound system, so two 15 watt speakers on each side, um so 30 watts of you know amplification coming out of it really starts to sound full when you're sitting with it in the room and and what I love is, there's only 12 voices on here, but five of them. The best five, i will say are piano, sounds, and so we kind of focused on this in the demo when we play it here in a minute, but really kind of unique piano sounds that you don't normally always get in a piano at this price range um. So it's interesting because i i really feel like the focus is on piano in this and it's not on you know, throwing a lot of you know different voices, 400 voices out there. You know it's not it's not for all that

 I could just sit back and listen and um what'd. You think. Would you like what you didn't like i mean i i enjoyed the the feel of it. It has a lot of like uh

 You know a lesser lesser instrument or on something in the same price range that kind of throws more than you need at you, so yeah the korg b2. If you have one, if you've played one, it does replace the b1, which was a pretty popular instrument. But this b2 - i really it came out in 2019 and we kind of missed it. It'S easy to miss, and so i'm really impressed with it and uh and excited that we have it here and i think it will be a great seller here at our store and there's also an app that goes with this and uh you can it's kind of Like a a lesson app, and so you can play along with, you, can chord and learn how to just do separate notes and stuff like, and it has the same kind of timing where it won't play until you hit the note right, yeah, so uh, the app Is kind of interesting uh from a learning standpoint to give it an extra tool for a student yeah so really enjoy the sound, the feel great instrument from korg at an affordable, affordable price, so really an interesting product

A Keyboard Designed For The Pianist | Korg B2 Review & Demo

 Don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. They spent the money on the build quality and sound rather than electronic gimmicks.  Recommended but not perfect.

While nicely weighted, the keys don't feel exactly like an acoustic but close enough that your fingers shouldn't trip over themselves when an opportunity to play one presents itself. None of the other weighted pianos sub 400eur have a 128 polyphony, it's closest competitor the casio cdp-s100 is only 64 and you can hear the difference.  Sustain pedal connection is proprietary and feels like it will break if you keep attaching and detaching it.  Rest feels solid and high quality

Best you can get for this price range

Jpop, Rock and Metal I prefer the B2 but where the stage is wanted like classical I do always go back to headphones, same case for deep male vocals.

Tonality wise the B2 is competent in every category, bass slams well due to DD driver but doesn't overpower the mix, female vocals shine on these as they have evident energy at 8-9k and enough air to give life. The pinna gain to my ears is perfect and female vocals aren't honky while male vocals while being more behind in the mix still resolves well. B2 feels like what you'd have if you had harman sub-bass, diffuse field pinna gain and a neutral high frequency range which rounds out to a versatile FR. I have a hard time nit picking the B2 FR

Where the B2 takes advantage is imaging, the B2 seperation and imaging is impressive, you can definitely tell where instruments are meant to be placed. Soundstage for an IEM is above average which if I were to give a plane of reference is slightly out of ear than in head. Stage on the Sundaras obviously is larger though they're not wide headphones to begin with, just wider than the 650s. Sundaras though still have good imaging just not as impressive as the B2

I understand that this might not be a fair comparison, but these are the two options i'm left with after elimination, especially since they are pretty much priced the same. I won't mind getting an amp for the Sundara either, it's just that i'm wondering the amount of SQ i'd be getting with the blessing 2 relative to the Sundara and whether it'd be worth going the extra mile for the Sundara.

I would love to use it, but their pricing model sucks.  I went with B2 because I don't have to worry about "tiers" -- just use what I use, and get charged for it.  No worries about going over quotas.

I haven't used it that much just because, when I'm making videos for you guys having the music stand in front of me, it's not something that I really need. But when I'm practicing it's something, that's actually quite nice to have. One of my other complaints would come from the sustain pedal
