I bought this toothbrush and it had an issue right out of package, the battery indicator light did not work. I figured I would still give it a try before exchanging it to see if I liked it enough to go through the trouble. I am so glad I did!!! It shows what Skinceuticals CE Ferulic (most likely this serum) can do for the skin after 1yr use.

*La Prarie*: one or two select items maybe but not the full line. It's fantastic stuff and very effective but with an average price of $400+ per product even I'm just not having that shit as my entire skincare line lol.

*La Prairie*: eye cream, a little goes a lonnnng way and it feels like butter and silk had a love child ✨ 

*Biologique Recherché*: Lotion P50 and any of the face masks especially the oxygenating mask and that one that smells like chocolate bread! 

I think there is a time and place for every discussion and as someone who has been utilizing both high end and drugstore skin care extensively over the last several years I have my own criticisms about overpriced brands like La Mer (too much fragrance and dye for me) but other high-end products are extremely effective and I feel them to be worth the price point! 

This is not gonna be a very popular opinion here, but I have to say it :

I'm  getting really tired of all the skincare enthusiasts and experts  bashing luxury skincare and basically calling everyone who uses the  expensive stuff an idiot or show off. I don't use anything above 25$  myself, but what's with all the hate and ridicule towards celebrities  and regular folk who buy expensive products?

bUt ThE inGreDiEnts in La mEr aRe ThE SaMe as iN nIVeAAAA aNd SK-II iS sooo OverPriCeeeeeD

And?  Should we cancel fine dining too? Following this logic it's stupid to  pay 300-400 for a dinner in a world-class Michelin star restaurant. Yes,  the ingredients are the same, but it's not just about them. It's also  about the presentation, the preparation method, the person who cooked,  the overall experience of that dinner. If people enjoy that type of  experience and have the money for it, what is the problem?

And?  You also don't need ice cream. It has no benefits for your body and if  you eat a lot of it it actually harms you. But people still eat it  because they enjoy it in the moment and it makes them feel good.

Enough with the luxury skincare/fragrance bashing! [Meta]

MDSolarSciences SPF 30 tinted (HG, WRP) - I am obsessed with this. I just got the SPF 50 version for outdoors, I use SPF 30 daily while I’m inside. It’s eliminated my need for makeup most days. It’s a light tint and it provides light-foundation like coverage

Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore (HG, WRP) - I hate how good this stuff is since it’s so expensive. I use it a couple nights a week after tret as a splurge. It’s amazing. I don’t know what else to say except that it’s another Skinceuticals product that lives up to the hype

I loved my first batch, but this one smells HORRIBLE. I can barely force myself to put it on my face. Way overpriced if there's no quality control. I was singing its praises to everyone after my first round, but after this one, I'm no longer sure
