This thing right here is just as a really easy clip locks tightly, so people can't just remove stuff from your bag

 A lot because I found that the water bottle holder on the side really only fits bottles up to half liter, which really isn't enough for me, so I usually keep a Powerbank in here.  It just doesn't have enough room or compartments to organize camera gear, for example, without it breaking and despite its smaller size, it's also very heavy when empty, which just adds up as you load it for college I'll. Keep using this, but for trips I'll stick to my in case City backpack, which has much more handy compartments, better laptop protection, a felt pocket as well as featuring more space while being lighter.  This is not a pack I would suggest for any beginner or newbie to get their hands on because there's so much to it to figure out. and if you're just learning how to backpack, this is probably not the pack for you. But if you're somebody who does a lot of four and five day trips, or you're somebody who does a lot of through hiking on some longer trails, this is a fantastic pack. You can load it down with a ton of gear and it carries extremely well

 These are 399 dollars, but you're spending money on an investment. Like I said, this pack can last you a long time because of the fact that you can change out the hip belt and because of all the adjustments that you can make on the backpack. This is not a pack I would suggest for any beginner or newbie to get their hands on because there's so much to it to figure out. and if you're just learning how to backpack, this is probably not the pack for you
