 The quality is self-evident when you hold it in the hand and put it on the wrist, it feels as solid as anything from its grand rival in Geneva, and on my 16 centimeter circumference wrist, it fits well. You can see it is low enough to fit underneath the cuff, so it could be your dress watch. You can see that it's short enough across the wrist that I can recommend it. For a wrist as small as 13 and a half centimeters circumference, and from over the top you can see it comes where nowhere near the edge of my wrist, down the barrel

I love absolutely everything about this watch. The sunburst effect on the dial, the symmetry due to the 6 o'clock date window, the blue lume, magnetic resistance, co-axial escapement, and most importantly the green dial! It is my first Swiss watch and I couldn't be more happy with it.

With this movement inside of here, getting some great accuracy in the process and why I like this watch maybe in comparison to say like a traditional regular seamaster diver is, I believe this one can be dressed up much more than looking at, say, a diver just wearing that with a suit or a tux. This one very much on a leather strap would look the business and would not look out of place by any means. And yes, the Aquaterra certainly is a mass appealing watch and is by no means I think underrated, but I think maybe underappreciated is the better word for understanding what the value it is being provided here

 This is a model that I reviewed and it does have that mass market appeal, but it is a bit different in terms of not seeing it everywhere on everyone's wrist. The cancel lever indices that blue dial. It is going to be mass appealing in terms of its looks but also providing something that is a bit different. Integrated bracelet that's going to be appealing to something that of course I think we all know with a lot of those high horology sports integrated style bracelets but with the movement inside with that elite caliber being skeletonized really offering up a really nice looking movement and then also getting a dial that really does look the business in all aspects

Is the OMEGA Aqua Terra the Perfect Everyday Luxury Watch in 2021?

Movement is very accurate and growing more and more common by the day. Also, what a strap-beast… Looks great on the Omega bracelet, but also is very inviting to all sorts of colors of rubber and leather straps. The watch sits in that nice little sweet spot of drawing attention only from people I enjoy it drawing attention from… this one likely will not be the target of a thief, rather the target of a particular type of watch nerd (love that kind of watch nerd).

From the form factor, bracelet, the beautiful orangy-golden-copper hues. It's got a lot of similarities to the GS in my opinion, which is a vintage look and a domed sapphire. The only other dress watch that I have is a 40.8 mm Seiko Presage, which does not get that much wear because I find it too large, even though it's an excellent watch in it's own right

 I've tracked this particular model for about 2-3 months and haven't seen a better deal in that timeframe.

Seiko presage, citizen eco-drive, seiko 5, orient. Try those brands/lines. Probably the best bang for your buck in terms of quality and aestheticism. For the engraving part, I would just go to your local jewellers

Hello. My son is turning eighteen in a month. I'd like to get something special, a keepsake. I'm considering an engraved watch with the text "Love, Live, Laugh, Learn" on the back. I'm looking for recommendations on brands/websites for engraving. I'm not looking to spend the mortgage...but could live with two or three hundred. I've been looking on the "Things Remembered" website but I'm not sure if I'm missing out on any other great options. Any help is greatly appreciated (even if it's just solid brand options). Thanks!

[Help] Recommendations for engraved watches? (birthday present for my son)

 My suggestion would be to go in for brands that have at least a 10+ year history - avoid the really new micro brands. The buying guides on this sub are quite informative.

Orient dress watches, Seiko divers, Hamilton field watches are the best basic ones. Then comes Seiko presage dress, Longines (column chrono is great value for money, new green conquest diver looks amazing), Sinn and a lot of other brands. My suggestion would be to go in for brands that have at least a 10+ year history - avoid the really new micro brands. The buying guides on this sub are quite informative

Ok last post was booted automatically. Ill try this again. Im totally new to collecting watches. I bought my first watch (not a cheapo)  about 2 years ago. Its a fossil. Ended up buying 2 more of the same brand a year later. Just got a engraved one a couple weeks ago from the wife. All fossil. I know they aren't the best brand but to me they are a lot nicer than I've ever had. Im looking for advice for brands to avoid and to buy without breaking the bank so to speak. I honestly find watches interesting and a needed accessory in my life. Just looking for advice! Thanks!
