I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

I've been using my Zebralights hard since 2011 and they've proven impossible to beat. I still try new lights on occasion, but I always come back to these. The SC64w is one of my favorites. I didn't need to update my SC62 and then SC63w, but I always like the latest and greatest

  First off, the highest brightness setting (which is one of the default "high" modes) is pretty impractical for most everyday applications because of how quickly the light overheats. when running this light at high, the head of the flashlight immediately starts to heat up, and even within a minute the flashlight becomes uncomfortably hot to hold. Measuring it with a thermocouple indicated that the body temperature reached at least 47 degrees C (117 F) in a relatively cool room, which while not hot enough to burn your skin, is still more than hot enough to be unpleasant to touch, and the light is short enough and shaped in such a way that you will pretty much always be holding it by the head. This renders the default high mode almost unusable except for very brief spurts

 Here I'll just show you the 12 degree hotspot which is what Zebralight uses in most of their small lights. You can see it is more floody than the SC64W high and gives it kind of a wider beam. So generally I really like Zebralight they are my favourite design. I like them because they are so small and light and have a really high output for such a small light

 Hi, this is a review of the Zebralight SC64W High Intensity Flashlight.

 This is a new light Zebralight has just released in November 2018.

 The XC64 series is the smallest of their 18650 lights.

 It uses a Cree High Intensity XHP35 emitter.

 It has a wide range of outputs from a moonlight mode up to about 1100 lumens.

 You do have to use an unprotected flat top cell and I list some there that are my favourites.

 Zebralights use efficient boost drivers that give you long run times and very flat outputs

 so they don't drop down and output as your battery voltage drops.

 They have low voltage protection to protect your cells.

 They have very good active thermal management to prevent overheating.

 And this light uses their latest programmable user interface.

 This light provides a really nice tint in a very even beam so there's no green in it

 The high intensity emitter provides a slightly smaller diameter hotspot for this light compared

 to the regular lights but it's not, I wouldn't consider it a throwy light, it's definitely

 I won't go into the user interface too much here but basically you hold down the switch

 to rotate between three modes, low, medium, high.

 You have secondary modes which allow you a little bit different outputs.

 You can click off, click on for high, double press for medium, long press for low.

 You got four clicks to check the batteries.

 You have three clicks for various kinds of strobes which I like to program in as a very

 low output slow flash because I hate strobes.

 Overall, the user interface is great once you get used to it.

 It is for flashaholics or it is for people that actually want a lot of control over their

 But one of the nice things about their new user interface which is a fully programmable

 interface is you can set this light up to be very simple.

 If you only want one mode, you can set it up so that you click to get to that mode or

 long press to get to that mode or whatever you want and so you can actually program this

 light and it has different groups that you can set up for different programs and in that

 way you could actually program a very simple interface for somebody that just wants to

 use the light in one or two modes for instance.

 At some future date, maybe I'll do a video about how to program Zebra lights but for

 now it would make this video too long so I won't go into it.

 Okay, so one thing I wanted to show in this video is a comparison with some of the other
