I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

  Tonight, as I was returning home from on my nightly walks, I came across an individual who under some sort of influence, attempting to break into my apartment building's front door. I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

It's like a lightsaber at night! Great little spotlight. It's definitely a specialized flashlight though just for throwing far. Nice build quality and most of the light is focused towards the central beam spot. USB-C rechargeable without needing to take the battery out is nice

Great pocket thrower!

 The benefit of this light when E-Skating is that it allows the rider to easily see 60-100 feet in front of them, as most skateboard mounted lights (like ShredLights) tend to be more of a flood light as opposed to a focused beam, allowing the rider to see obstacles, & bad parts of the road & pavement in advance. I hold this light in the hand opposite my remote control. Then I’ve got a 1K Lumen headlamp mounted to my helmet,& then I’ve got 2 sets of Shredlight SL300’s(300 lumens each),& also mounted the Cute Light Cube to the front of the board, so that I have the best lighting for recording from my deck mounted DJI Osmo Action. Couldn’t be happier with this light,& it’s now the 3rd light that I’ve purchased from this company that not only exceeds that which I’ve grown to expect of this company, but this is also one of the best priced long throw (pocket sized…to the point that EDC could easily be possible)

 This little flashlight has a quite high candela output of nearly 90,000 candela with 680 lumens in turbo mode. This Thrunite Mini has a throw that puts many of my higher lumen rated flashlights to shame. I prefer flashlights with longer throw as opposed to a wider spill and this Mini throws a near laser-like beam out nearly 600 meters. I like that
