I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

They are all very accurate in their specifications of lumen output and I did comparisons with their headlamps and flashlights side by side with this product.  Take that off so off the bat you know it feels quite solid. In the hand this is uh. What do they call this aerospace grade? Aluminium alloy is what it's made of and uh the machining. When you put the battery in and out feels nice and smooth

 Like this, that's designed to be a headlamp slash, a 90-degree EDC light to be able to stick this thing on the hood of a car side of a car anywhere, most lights that are configured such as this would have a magnetic tail cap. Having said that, you can rectify that by simply removing this spring and supergluing a magnet in there and then putting the spring back in. I know people personally who have done that and it works just just fine, but I think it would have been really nice to have that magnetize from the factory, all in all isn't worth 27 bucks. I would say absolutely the power, the construction, the durability is what you would expect from sofa, and so let's take a quick pause and I'll meet you outside to show you what this thing can do and we'll go ahead and close out the video once we get Outside alright, here we are in the backyard with the sofa and SP 40 right now

 In this case I am shocked at the build quality of this device. The materials and finish are well beyond what I expected for this price point. I work in remodeling and do not always have the best lighting, meaning this device is on my head all day to fill in dark spots. Mud, grease, dirt dust you name it and it is covered in it

 The battery clearly is from a top manufacturer as I would have killed a no name brand by now. As far as endurance it last me days if I am not on the highest setting which is rarely needed for me. Buy it you won't be sorry later
