Okuma Ceymar C-30   Review

Easy!  I’d put the Okuma Ceymar up against just about anything under $100.  Fantastic piece of gear.  The C-30 being the one I’d be looking at for most mid weight applications.  

I currently use a cheap combo but I finally can afford a good relatively good rod and reel combo

Looking for a good spinning reel under $60 dollars

 I don't really rely on drag that much. I set my book and when I have the fish set, I'll open, the anti reverse and then I'll back grill and give that fish some line. So I love that location. So that's I'm happy about that

 Now I was just talking about this is ac30. You go up to the sea 35, which I thought about doing so it can hold. It'S really weird everything's in alright, so so for full from wan na can hold four pound 300 yards six pounds. 185

Okuma Ceymar Review

I highly recommend okuma ceymar reels. Really great quality for their price point. I would personally go with a size 30 reel and pair it with a Berkley lightning 6'6" medium light action pole. It's well under $100 and will catch just about everything in fresh water without feeling cheap like a Shakespeare or an ugly stik

So I've been a freshwater angler for years now. About a month ago, my car was stolen from my apartment. Haven't seen it since. In it was all of my fishing gear that I've had since I was a kid. Even if the car turns up, I doubt there will be anything in it anymore. Pretty beat up about it, but I guess it's an opportunity to try out some new gear. 

I've always tended to buy rods from the Ugly Stik line and typically Abu Garcia reels. Probably looking for a baitcaster but might consider a good spinning reel. Mainly just looking for rod/reel recommendations; I know what baits/lures I prefer, but if it helps select rod/reel then I almost exclusively throw soft plastics year round. Only the occasional jig, spinner, or crankbait. I know there are a lot of good brands out there, and I'd love to branch out on my new stuff. I know I see Lews on this sub and other fishing subs a lot. 

Given obvious current financial circumstances, I'd like to try and keep a $100 budget for the rod/reel because I also need a tackle box, line, hooks, weights, lures, a knife, etc. Thanks everyone in advance for recommendations.

 That being said, the 65 on Amazon right now will run you around $ 72. When we bought ours. Yes, we bought it used, so it's cheaper to begin with, and then also when I did my first review a little over a year ago, it's probably around 65.  Both of them are 129 dollars, both have aluminum frames, graphite side plates, and both have advanced braking systems found in their more expensive reels. But I do plan on taking the Tatula Ct out on the casting field and put it up against possibly the Fuego or the Tatula 100 in a cast battle. But I'm going to let you guys decide you want to see the Ct go up against the Fuego or the Tatula 100 or the Slx Xt in a casting plug battle. Now the second category is where this new Tattoola Ct falls into. and that is reels that have marketplace significance. So since this Tattoola Ct is more than likely Dye was best-selling baitcaster and it is constantly on Tackle Warehouses best sellers page, This reel definitely does have a lot of marketplace significance

 It is a quality reel that's going to last you a long time, but now it's time to tell you guys the real reason why I bought this reel and that is. I've been looking for a rival for a particular reel for a long time now and the reel that I'm looking for arrival for is this reel right here Shimano's mighty Slx Xt. Now a couple of years ago I imported one of these reels off ebay and this was long before Shimano announced it at Icast and I made a prediction that if Shimano brought this reel over to the U.s market, they were going to price it at 129 which is the same price as the Tatula Ct in order to kill off the sales of that reel

 I only had the Cd type bar which was a great caster so out on the water. this reel may surprise me, but for all you guys that have the old model, it doesn't look like getting this new one is really going to give you anything in terms of uh, performance increase. but still, at 129 dollars, you are getting a lot of real for the money. And of course it is a Daiwa so it is solid
