I haven't played the Fender mustang mini, but I will vouch for the NUX mighty plug. It's USB rechargeable, has 7 amp presets (4 guitar, 3 bass) and you can download an app (Mighty Amp) to your phone to change each preset via Bluetooth. If you have an android phone or tablet, then download *Mightier Amp*, an unofficial app that does all the above and also allows you to save  and load your presets.

So im planning on buying one of the Vox Amplug 2 mini amps to play with headphones, but i dont know which version I should go for. The music I like to play for the most part is from The Strokes, AM and RHCP, my guitar is an epiphone sg 310 which I know is not even close to being the type used by these bands lol, but its the one I have. 

Which one should i go for? I would think it would have to be one from the Clean, AC30, Classic Rock,

Well mainly because I  have a pretty decent headset already and the sound quality is pretty  darn good. Secondly, I want to be able to record a song and see my  progression.

Problem is, I have no  idea how to do this. My birthday is coming up again and I figured I  would add some gear ideas to accomplish this.

[GEAR] Learning to play but need to be quieter? Cheap method to play the guitar via my PC/Headphones?

 I said clean on the 1.5 was not laser, on the 2.2 it is. Clean sounds incredibly natural, and you can use more gain before clipping occurs

 Well using chorus with clean would sound great, huh? Well the Chorus effect is not working. I tried to turn on CE1 with clean and distorted amps and no difference was made. The stereo chorus is also gone. The Optima acoustic amp is gone

 So uh, that's why I'm not wearing headphones. Let's go ahead and open up the Mighty Editor here. Now, this editor does work on a Pc, Mac, or on your phone, both Android and Apple. [Music] Uh, let's drag this mod block after the effects and in front of the amplifier here

 I'm also using Emgs, which are pretty high output, but I don't think that should be a consideration since a lot of guitars out there in the wild have Emgs, and if you're not used to dialing in something where the tone stack is synergistic and all the knobs affect each other or that just sounds like too much of a hassle for you, then you might want to steer away from this. However, my big issue with the Mighty Plug Pro is that you can't connect to bluetooth earbuds, and I know this seems small, but I know from previous reviews of similar products that this was a big irritation for other people as well. And here's the thing. there is: bluetooth support

 Not only does the Mighty Plug Pro connect to your phone via Bluetooth, but your phone can actually stream audio from Spotify or your preferred streaming service back to the Mighty Plug Pro. and you have all sorts of controls like Eq and volume that can customize the playback and practicing experience. So why not support bluetooth earbud connections? So all in all, I think it's an awesome product for the money and I fully plan on taking this thing with me for the impromptu jam session on my next vacation.  Huh, it says Darkglass Element Headphone Amp.

 Hey guys, it's Kevin on Triusian over at Backroom Studios, today we're going to review the Darkglass

 It's a headphone amp and cab sim all in one.

 Now you may be asking why would a studio be needing something like this?

 Well, my good buddy, Lauren, sent this over to me.

 He's been my Darkglass rep for a few years now.

 We know we have lots of Darkglass stuff here.

 We got multiple bass amps, we got a bunch of pedals, and as you know, they're fucking

 So Lauren thought this would be cool for me to check out, so he sent this over.

 And I guess we're going to try some interesting stuff with it, you know, we're going to show

 But then the fun stuff in a little bit we're going to get to is I have a session from a

 band called Burden, and this is probably one of the heaviest bands I've ever recorded.

 So what we're going to do with this is we're going to run the DI tracks through a rev pedal

 into this and then use the cab sims on it and replace the original tracks and see how

 I don't know if it's going to be awesome or what's going to happen.

 So let's go through some of the specs on this guy.

 It's got a lot of things crammed into a little tiny box here.

 So let's kind of go over what this thing has to offer.

 It has two headphone outputs and I guess the premise is you can plug your pedal board straight

 into this if you're like at a show or remember when the show was for a thing or a rehearsal

 or just like in the green room or just in your house.

 Like I don't have an amp at my house because I got a bunch back here.

 But this would be cool for me to actually leave at home probably and that way I can

 just plug in this guy when I want to roll and just plug whatever kind of pedal I want

 I kind of wish I had this thing a long time ago when I was playing live because this would

 be really great to work out some songs to some of the Dillinger material with.

 It's like a touch guy so that's pretty cool, louder, softer.

 Now you plug your, like I said, you can plug your guitar straight in, you can go through

 your pedals that way you can have like an overdrive so you can get some distortion going

 otherwise it's just going to be clean and you can have an aux in to like send a mini

 jack from your whatever, I guess your Android because iPhones don't fucking have that anymore
