The heating element is in the lid, which you remove to rearrange your food (see uneven heating). It is also large, glass, full of electronics and 400 degrees, so good luck finding someplace to lay it where it won't scorch or melt

Also the silicone spacer around the basket get weak and fall off very easy as the heat weaken the rigidity. If you are very careful and nice with the basket this product is wonderful. Otherwise if Oster made a stronger basket and remove the button for release and create a slide lock, would be more safe for handling heavier items in the basket.

This one has a hard time cooking through quickly. Best looking air fryer huge easy clean basket / display looks premium. Quiet. But other systems cook food faster than this one

Instructions are lacking but there is enough information online to get you going. Breaded chicken tenders and Frys came out great. Nice and crispy. The frozen pizza I think was too large and blocked much of the air from circulating, will try smaller pizzas in the future

i just got my new cooker today and have not had a chance to use it yet, im excited about using it and i think it will help me to eat healthier and be very simple to cook food in, i was not impressed with the manual very much, it did not seem to explain specifically how to put the thing together as far as the metal ring and what it actually did, because there is a part of the extender that slides open and closed which has hole in it, not sure what they are for or when i should use in the open or close position, other than that i think it will be of some very good use to me, it looks nice and seems well built

Using an air fryer is healthier than regular deep frying or even pan frying and super easy to use. It's been great for grilled styled vegetables, chicken, and especially wings. My favorite was the home version of bloomin onion. I even tried pizza rolls for 3 mins and it was like they just came out of the oven, but without the grease
