NordicTrack Commercial 1750 vs Fitness Factor Adjustable Jump Rope

I've had the NordicTrack "Commercial" 1750 treadmill now for just over a year and wanted to write a quick review. My TL;DR is: purchase a different treadmill and stay away from NordicTrack. The basics are there - it (currently) works, it turns on, connects to iFit, you can walk/run on it, move the incline, all of that basic stuff. But it hasn't been a great treadmill, and I would purchase another kind of treadmill were I to make that decision today

I bought a Nordictrack commercial 1750 around Christmas time and I absolutely love it. I’m not a ‘new’ runner but I’m getting a ton out of some of the iFit programs.

I’m starting to build a collection of ropes, I’ve split 4 of these specific ropes, and a total of 9 ropes with varying materials. I highly recommend this rope for beginners. It’s a licorice rope, so it’s more durable then most ropes and will last you the longest. I like these particular ropes since they’re convenient and durable, you can jump in the gym, basketball court, garage and just about anywhere without having to worry about damaging the floors like other ropes

Now iFit is pretty good but there are a few things that seem to be developing pretty slowly on their end. They finally were able to add support for bluetooth headphones a couple of weeks ago which I can't imagine why it would take so long for such a basic feature. My biggest wish is that they would integrate with other aggregators (google fit, fitbit, apple, anything) as well as have Spotify or other music integrations on the console. In their defense they do not state that this is a feature and I purchased the treadmill without any promise that this would be done

I jump rope in between sets to keep my heart rate up as well. It's easy to do, easy on the joints, and really gets your heart pumping and blood flowing! Something so simple and cheap and can do right in the comfortable of your own home..

Ifit would be cool tho. Belt needs to be at least 20x60. I am 6 foot 230lbs and plan on mostly walking, some jogging and some HIIT.

Could barely walk for 2 days. My calves were so tight & worked! Do your stretches ladies & gents! If you looking to loose weight or tone up & enjoy jump rope, this is the product for you! Jump rope is better for you than swimmimg, running or jogging. It is a low impact cardio workout. Strengthens your bones, burns fat, healthy for the heart & science proves jump rope makes you smarter! Who would've guessed? You can easily adjust the length (one time only, since you have to cut it to size) on the end of the handles you can screw off the tops, pull the rope thru & tie a knot for your length, then cut off the excess & screw the top back on & your ready to jump! SOME JUMP ROPE TIPS! *Regular jump rope, your feet should only come an inch or two off the ground (No need jumping three feet in the air unless your a pro doing tricks) *When jumping keep elbows a bit away from the body

This is HEAVY and a pain to move as was indicated by the machine lift only sticker. When you get it out of the box I suggest installing the piston first so you can roll it to where you want in the house without needing a high school lifting team to assist. That way the deck is locked up and you can just wheel it around. Also take into account where you want it first because this thing will not fit through a standard door without some creative sideways sliding action

Please read this! My rope tangled and I was so frustrated, BUT if this happens please contact the seller!! When I left a poor review, Eric reached out to me proactively to try to help, he immediately responded to my complaint and was very nice. We figured out that the cord was hair pin looped in the handle and voila-it's fixed!! I've amended my review based on Eric's responsiveness and genuine desire to help me and make sure I was happy. Still haven't heard from them. Calls and emails, just go ignored. After spending 2k plus, disappointing to say the least.

Honestly with all the different options for jump ropes it was hard to find one that describes what i was looking for, HEIGHT!!! I was looking for one that was long enough just because more often than not jump ropes are somewhat short. After unboxing it, i immediately took off the twist-tie and stood up, first reaction was "this thing is tall" im 6'4" and i had to cut off around a foot of it, honestly wouldn't be surprised if a 7 footer could use this. The only reason i'm giving it 4 stars is because though the instructions for shortening were fairly clear, the plastic prong piece was kind of frustrating to deal with but other than that, TALL GUYS THIS IS LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU!
