The Enforcer 104 Unlimited is the widest and most playful offering from Nordica's new, touring focused, Unlimited series. At 104mm underfoot this ski is a beast in softer deeper snow and it's easy to ski. It's light and nimble allowing for really easy turn initiation and it's able to be pivoted and smeared through some tight terrain if you find yourself there. Even though this ski is on the lighter end of the spectrum it still feels stable and smooth as long as you're not skiing in garbage snow or pushing it too hard. The carbon in this ski makes it feel snappy and energetic but it's by no means a nervous feeling ski. That being said, this is a lighter ski that is touring focused so it's not the most powerful feeling ski out there, but that is not what this ski is meant to be used for. This is a great ski if you want something that floats well, is light enough to tour with, or you want something to ski at the resort on a softer snow day.

Agreed with other comments, 80s or low 90s underfoot will be more fun. I would recommend 

the Nordica Enforcer Unlimited in 88 or 94. Light fast ski, and a new version of a great product that's priced well right now.

Help choosing ski

IMO you should get the rangers 102 of of the skis you listed. PNW gets heavy snow and crud. Get a damp ski another good ski for that is the Nordica enforcer 104

I'm looking to purchase my first Ski. I'm 6'0, 160LBS, I have mainly ski'd hand-me-down ski's including an old 78 width atomic (not sure the model), and K2 pinnacle 88. I wanted to demo a ski that was more stable so over the weekend at Whistler. I ended up demoing a nordica enforcer 100 (179cm). Overall the ski was great, but I did find the ski quite demanding and heavy. I'm looking for something a bit lighter, but has similar properities.

What are good touring skis that can be used for almost anything?

The Enforcer(and Santa Anna) Unlimited series is Nordica’s first line of touring-oriented skis. While the brand is new to the touring ski world, the Enforcer series is an all-time favorite of many resort skiers. The 104 Unlimited borrows the playful, rockered shape and profile of the venerable Enforcer 104 Free, but brings the weight for a 179cm down from ~2100g per ski to a very competitive 1650g in the Unlimited version.

It wouldn’t be my top choice for frequent forays into steep, firm couloirs or the deepest powder days, but it is certainly passable in these snow/terrain genres. The Enforcer 104 Unlimited has continued to be my top choice for tree skiing, settled pow, and variable or tracked surfaces – encompassing most of the day-to-day conditions we encounter throughout the winter. Cheers to Nordica for a well-done first entry into the touring world!

 Voile has been a steady player in this middle ground with the V8 and others, and Line’s Vision series, as well as the Atomic Backland 100/107, bring a nice balance of soft snow performance with great versatility for a variety of skiers in a variety of conditions. The Enforcer 104 Unlimited is a strong entry in this middle ground.

Updating a top-selling model is risky business, but we think Nordica nailed last year’s revamp of the Enforcer line. The mid-width “94,” which replaced the outgoing 93-millimeter ski, is our favorite of bunch thanks to its sturdy yet fun personality. Notable tweaks to the design, including greater use of carbon fiber and a lighter-weight front end that features less plastic and more wood, increased versatility. The result is that the ski has lots of pop as you combine turns on and off trail, grips exceptionally well on hardpack, and still can put a lot of power down with two sheets of metal. In a very crowded field of all-mountain options, the Enforcer’s do-everything character puts it at the top of our 2022 rankings.

In testing the ski, one standout trait we kept coming back to was its natural and predictable performance. From the very first run, we felt completely comfortable: the ski is surprisingly easy to turn, excels at a range of speeds, and hits a sweet spot in width for true coast-to-coast appeal. On all but the deepest days—during a late-season storm cycle, we did find ourselves wishing for more floatation—the Enforcer is a great match. The Nordica Enforcer 94 is our favorite ski for carving and ranks well overall in our all-mountain lineup. The Enforcer 94's Carbon Chassis and TWO Sheets of metal combine to create our favorite blend of edge grip, rebound, and overall precision while carving at higher speeds.
