The Vegan Test Kitchen

 All right. So let's start with our first test. the temperature test. I want to see how fast these ovens get to their temperature, and I want to get a baseline, so I know that the food tests later on are going to be on equal footing, so we'll be setting both of them to 425

 But I am curious how some of the other features work in the ninja itself, so let's take a look. Keeping with the breakfast theme we have going on, I want to see what the bagel function can do now. One of the first instructions they give you when cooking bagels is to put them cut side up, which to me just seems backward and abnormal. Per the manual, the bagel function heats the bottom just slightly hotter than the top, which means the exterior of your bagels will be just a bit crispier while leaving the inside a bit more chewy

 I have to say, I actually really like the slim look and the rounded corners of this compared to the boxiness of the black and decker inside. We have our airfry basket, our wire rack crumb tray which appears super easy to slide in and out, and what do we have here? Let's see our sheet pan for all those sheet pan mills everyone seems to be obsessed with. Right now, let's take a look at some of the standout features. First, the Elephant in the room

 Let's start first with a Ninja. After one minute, it tells us it's preheated, which as the manual warns us, is super quick, so you want to make sure your food is on hand pretty much from the beginning. However, as you see from the freestanding thermometer, it's nowhere near 425. Now I know these types of thermometers can be a bit slow with their reading sometimes and before you ask, I did calibrate it beforehand, so we're going to see if we have these same results over the Black Decker

 When I put it on bake and follow directions for temperature and minutes, everything burns.  Got it for a Christmas present and dont have the heart to tell daughter it burns everything you bake.  Gave away my toaster oven that baked good, and gave away my air fryer so I could save space.  Called the person I talked with said dont go by what temperature it calls for, go 50° lower

 I think Ninja should include a cheaper "Drip catching" pan with the oven to prevent this from happening. I now feel like I'll need to buy a replacement pan already for when I will try the sheet meals. 

Ok now that's out of the way, I'll gush a bit over the awesome parts of the machine. Obviously the design is fantastic. Now that I can fold it out of the way, I was able to rearrange all my countertops and really reclaim my countertop space. The preheating is also unreal

Just purchased, and find the toaster oven to be good and bad. Good is that it is able to air fry a 2 pound bag of tater tots in about 20 minutes, and toasts bagels and english muffins very well. Bad is the internal dimensions of the oven, it is definitely vertically challenged. It is quite awkward to load with due to the height of the oven cavity

Works Well, but........

 I wouldn't recommend using this to make foods that are greasy and spurt oils.  Pros: - you can flip it open and easily clean inside; -It heats up in a minute to 425 deg F, it's great to use in the summer without heating up the house; -good for making crispy items such as; fries, tater tots, breaded foods from the freezer; -it seems to cook quicker then the instructions state for the item being cooked (eg bake at 425 for 20 minutes, actually cooks in 18 minutes).  Better materials would make this a 5 star, especially at this price ($199)  I would still recommend to others.

Materials stain easily

 Overall I like it because I can get rid of so many appliances but it is a bit bulky to get out and use in my small kitchen in my rv. Pros and cons.

 Experimentation is a necessity to determine exactly what temperatures and time will result in the best-finished product. (In my case, fresh-cut french fries required roughly ten minutes longer in the rotisserie basket..

Surprisingly high performance for an All-In-One system including Rotisserie!

 The racks are wonderful. I never have to spray them with oil because the food never sticks to them. And clean up is a breeze when I just put them in warm soapy water for a minute or two and then wipe with a sponge. The inside is a wonder also as it rarely gets any food splatters stuck on it

The size is great, enabling me to cook larger quantities. It also fits on my counter space without taking up a ton of room. The food comes out great. The noise it makes is not really loud or obnoxious

Zavor Air Fryer is All Around Fantastic!

5- 3 pound roaster ,anything bigger just won’t fit in the oven.The controls are very easy to use and it comes with quite a variety of inside attachments,the heat does not blow out as much as my other Air fryer .I like the oven light and overall a great item.My only can complaint is if it were a bit larger you could cook almost everything,but the compact idea is great as well

Overall an excellent Air Fryer with multiple uses

I love air fryers because they are quicker, easier, and a bit healthier. My previous air fryers have been the single tray kind, which in hindsight are limited compared to this one. I didn't know what I was missing until I started using this one that features an oven style door with multiple racks, an auto rotation basket, and a light to see your food. But, the best part of using racks is the better airflow around the food

 I find thatcI need to cook things longer thsn what is recommended. Clean up is simpke as the accessories are dishwasher safe. Nice, multi function unit.
