We tried the burgers at 400F for 8 minutes based upon a recommendation for beef burgers. After the first smoke event, i dialed down to 325F, but ended up with the same result. Following this we tried to cook the Beyond Meat Sausages at 325F, but also set off the smoke alarm in the process. We have not had this problem with other foods, so perhaps there is something with the fat content and type that makes it smoke at lower temps, but the main find was that the absence of an OFF switch is a hazard to me
