The one important thing that is hardly mentioned about this is that when you are using both sides simultaneously you lose 50% power therefore it takes more than twice as long to cook and they won’t brown probably! What’s the point of having 2 sides if you can’t use them at full power! Might as well just swamp food in and out of the same side! Can you imagine having a double oven but it will only heat to 200 when you use them at the same time? Yeah you get the picture!

It's great when only using one side. When you use both sides at the same time, the more cooking time goes up by A large margin. It needs more power.

 It's Jamie here, taking over today from Mark.

 Anyway, today we're going to review the Ninja Foodi two basket air fryer.

 Dual zone technology, so it says on the box, and obviously the big part

 of this thing is you have the two baskets in front.

 You can cook two different things at the same time.

 So let's get into the box first and through the magic of our video.

 So here it is, the Ninja Foodi two basket air fryer.

 I just want to talk about some of the features that come with it.

 Obviously, the main part of this, like I said, is the two baskets that it comes with.

 And I don't want this to sound like a sales pitch, but I'll get to the cons later.

 Basically, these allow you to cook two different things at two different times.

 You got the smart finish and the match cook.

 Now, this is basically the whole selling point of this unit.

 The match cook being just what it sounds like.

 and it'll cook the same for the same time, the same temperature.

 So if you have a large batch of, say, fries, you can cook them in both

 baskets at the same time and yield the same results.

 Smart finish, on the other hand, something a little cooler.

 So say you have a whole meal or two different things.

 You set the individual time and temperature for each basket.

 they'll actually finish at the same time, so you're eating at the same time.

 We're going to run you through some tests

 today or run the unit through some tests today to show you how it performs,

 obviously, but also some of the times that they recommend might not add up to the

 real life. So we're going to see how that goes.
