Kyrie 8's have a wide toe box and roomier fit, especially EP's so you'll probably be going to a 11 to 11½. Dame 8's are made wider and longer so I would never base that on your size. Kyrie 7's are TTS for narrow to regular width and have less break in than you think. If you order a size and you think it "just needs a bit of breaking in" chances are you mightve got the wrong size

But anyways, I have basically no arch and a wide foot. I wear a 10.5 in the kyrie 8 eps and a 10 in the pg6 eps. I also wear a size 10 in the dame 8 if that helps at all. I dont mind break in time, but I don't want it to be super tight and snug, but I also want good lockdown with no heel slippage. For example, in the pg6, I have ample room around the enirety of my foot, and it has good lockdown so I dont experience heel slippage. The pg 6 also has some room left on the top of the toebox. Should I go tts, or 1/2 size up? (Btw, I can't try these on instore; the amount of basketball stores here is atrocious in Vancouver, have to take a long 2 - 3 hour drive to the nike outlet near the airport and I doubt they sell basketball shoes.)

Kyrie 7 Fit?

 Traction is good. The materials like I keep saying are very very nice and minimal here in the forefoot and super cozy and comfortable here in the back it looks great. It's a light feeling shoe. you feel responsive and I feel like most people will enjoy this shoe

 So if you guys do want to get it, I'll try to leave an affiliate link in the description box. But let's get it started. Right off with the tracciones. And as far as the traction pattern goes, we have like a multi-directional and it's kind of like a herringbone pattern

 It says retail price is 120 bucks. It's not out in the U.s so we don't know what the actual price of the Kyrie 8 is, but that is 10 less than the actual Kyrie 7. So they decrease the price by 10, which is very unusual

 And of course we can also see the heel zoom unit which is exposed through the bottom of the shoe. So here in the forefoot we have like an oval shaped pod with some spikes on the sides and also more spikes in the middle. You know it's kind of like a different color here on the lateral and medial side of the shoe. So how's the traction? So at first it wasn't great

Nike Kyrie 8 Infinity Performance Review!

A bit in the middle of the patter, and mostly on the outside of the latter. If you have a shoe rotation, you will probably not encounter this issue until maybe a year later. Overall, I love the Nike Kyrie 8. They are the most comfortable and functional Kyrie model for me

 They're made more for ground contact, ground feel, really tactile and nimble movement on the ground. They're meant for you to beat somebody one-on-one Well, before you've gotten to the point where you got to jump around or jump over somebody and it's pretty obvious that's what these were designed to do. Because number one, the four foot's got the Zoom stroble unit which saves a lot of height so your foot is put way closer to the ground versus some other shoes with higher stacks in the forefoot. That's going to give you a lot more tactile feel on the ground

 That feeling also extends into and around the ankle collar, where the material is just a little more premium. You've got synthetic leather, you've got real leather suede, and so the materials are just a little bit softer. However, because the lockdown of the shoes is so good with the lacing system, just because they're a little softer doesn't mean you're not getting a ton of stability and a ton of control in the ankle. So they've found a way to make this shoe pretty light, but also just wicked secure around your foot and really comfortable

 However, on the flip side of that because this is a more minimalist design, the shoe is also lighter and therefore a lot easier to get off the ground because if you look at the jump height test, I still got 32 centimeters of jump height, which is still right up there in the ballpark of some more maximalist shoes or shoes with much stiffer midsoles. However, you're just gonna have to watch out in the long run because the more miles you put on this shoe because there isn't that rigid beam in the middle, the phylon in the midsole is going to start to compress a little bit more and the shoe overall is just going to start to lose a lot more playability versus a shoe that has a really stiff rigid beam in it to kind of stress shield the rest of the midsole. And speaking of the midsole construction, that brings me to the second reason. these may or may not be a pickup for you

 Just make sure you're going up that half size or looking for the version of these. They're going to fit you better and while these are new, they will fit a flatter foot. However, they're going to start allowing more overpronation as they get older and as that foam starts to bottom out in the midsole. Just watch out for that if you are a flatterfoot player

Looking for budget outdoors shoes.

 You know, it has a very high heel tab. The tongue opens up a lot. just slide your foot in, tighten up the laces and you're good to go. Also in this colorway, I like the laces, you know? Uh, we have a black laces with some green with some infrared stitching on it, which is a nice little touch

 How does it feel on my wood floors? It feels really, really nice. So how does the stop feel? It feels really, really good. It pretty much stops on a dime on my wood floors and uh, there's no squeak which sucks and so I feel like this is gonna be one of those silent traction patterns. And that's what the Spawn the original Spawn was

 but then in their ball shoes it's super stiff right? But then no. in the Spawn 3, it's really really soft. You know there's a good amount of compression, especially underneath your foot and it feels really soft underneath your foot. You know, like I feel like underfoot cushioning is going to be really good

 But let's get it. Started off with the trashiones. So the traction pattern is pretty interesting. We got three X's one here in the forefoot, one here in the midfoot, and one here in the heel

UA Spawn 3 First Impressions!

Traction: the next best thing, the Spawn 3 has nicely spaced grooves and a softer rubber compound that offers AMAZING grip on my wood and tile flooring. i don’t expect it to last outdoors though, seeing that it’s actually really soft. the stop isn’t SUPER hard, and is still friendly on the knees and joints. i had no slipping whatsoever, even when i intentionally spilt dust on the floor so i could test that

 Uh, and it's a really, really responsive shoe. Like I said, the traction is really good, cushion is responsive, it's supportive, and the fit is good so my foot isn't like moving anywhere inside the shoe. Lock down was good and all that. So uh yeah, you feel very quick and light on your feet when you're playing this all right

 I cannot believe how like thin this upper is. It does feel a little bottom heavy, but that's okay. Uh, and it's a really, really responsive shoe. Like I said, the traction is really good, cushion is responsive, it's supportive, and the fit is good so my foot isn't like moving anywhere inside the shoe

 Uh, it has a little bit of an outsole curvature guys. Uh, if you guys see, the outsole comes up a lot here on the medial side. So if you're doing like crossovers and stuff like that and you do this type of movement a lot while doing that, then you're good to go. You know you have the rubber outsole coming up a lot for extra added grip and you have all it curves up a little bit here

 but it's still really nice and I appreciate that. uh, that they added that here in the spawn. three. As far as the durability goes, the durability seems okay

UA Spawn 3 Performance Review!

right now i have the Spawn 3s, KD13, Zoom BB NXT (just because its comfy), Kobe 4 and Curry 8.

Basically the title, thought it was interesting to hear what everyones go-to is.

Mine are the Jordan 35s and the Kyrie 7, only used them indoors and they perform really well for me, even though the durability doesnt seem that great on the 35s.

YOUR favourite basketball shoe right now?

  Grip is amazing shoe!  Cushion is perfect - not too firm, not too soft.  Feels good all over my foot.  It's LOW, but I'm okay with low-tops and haven't even noticed it while playing.  I've put in some hours on the court with these shoes and so far, they're killing it!  I'm trying to find another pair somewhere!  love these!
