A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 3 REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

 So Aman Mene's founder, James Witter. He was inspired by his childhood story where the Air Jordan 3 was the very first shoe that his mom ever bought him and his brothers. So that's why they opted for a collaboration on the Jordan 3 model and that's why it's a release meant for women. So so far they've had two initial drops of this shoe

It's Shawn here and I'm super excited to give you guys my review of the Ama Menuet collaboration with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 3 Retro sp and the Raised by Women colorway. This is arguably one of the top releases of 2021 and it's a shoe inspired by women and technically made for women as well. So this is a women's release, but fortunately they're releasing in bigger sizes as well. So safe to say, unless you have really, really massive feet, most people should be able to grab this pair in their size

 The first round was a women's only raffle and then the second round was an online general raffle and they're set for an online drop on their website on April 28th. This pair is set for a price of 200 Us dollars, which translates to about 250 Canadian and the official colorway for this shoe is white, medium gray, and violet ore. So first off, here's a quick look at the box and the box is a special edition box made just for this release. It comes with this translucent sleeve and we have this a logo found throughout and then taking off this cover, you'll see that the box is special as well

 You'll notice though that the edges of the leather when you take a look at it from the side, it sort of has like a reddish tint to it and then surrounding the front edge of the toe box. Instead of your signature elephant print, they've replaced it with this really fuzzy gray colored suede moving downwards. The eyelets of the shoe have this yellow tint to it which adds to the whole vintage aesthetic of the sneaker and in the middle. Again, instead of elephant print here we have more of that gray suede moving downwards we have more of this tumbled white leather and then surrounding the bottom wrapping around the back heel we have more of that gray suede

get started with the shoe we need to talk about 
the history and why there is so much nostalgic  

vibes when it comes to this retro especially with 
the nike air on the back michael jordan came into  

the league in 1985 with his own air jordan 1 and 
from then every single year he had his new shoe  

the jordan 2 the jordan 3 the jordan 4 the jordan 
5 and then we got the jordan 6. that was the year  

that he won his first championship in 1991 so 
for jordan winning his first championship in this  

model right here it was already an iconic thing 
as you remember him with the championship trophy  

with the team and him wearing him in that photo or 
seeing him on court playing against other players  

throughout the season everybody knew that jordan 
infrared 6 was one of the most iconic sneakers  

of that time and i think that he wore that 
shoe just a little bit more but that's okay  

because everybody knew about this shoe as well i 
have always seen debates between people talking  

about which shoe is better the infrareds or the 
car mines me personally i appreciate and love  

both of them and i want each and every retro in 
each and every version of both of those shoes  

and speaking of that we do have a slight problem 
i no longer have the original pair which should  

have been right here they got stolen from me when 
i was in college i had an og pair from way back  

in the day i found them out of dunk exchange 
the dude only wanted like 40 bucks for them  

i got him for a great deal i was super super 
excited to have the shoe and then when i  

transferred schools and my stuff was supposed 
to get shipped my shoes never came in the mail  

it is what it is you got to chalk the l up to the 
game but let's go ahead and get into this review  

so the first thing that i'm going to do is break 
down this sneaker give you guys a quick look  

i don't need to spend too much time on it 
because it's pretty obvious but as you can  

see right here from the outsole you have your 
classic air jordan 6 outsole you got your red  

jumpman with your translucent pods here with the 
white hits around the middle of the foot as well  

working up to the midsole same thing white and 
black vibes with the translucent icy soles you got  

a white air unit and onto the upper i think this 
is something actually let's rewind just one second

because i forgot to mention the midsole there 
have been a lot of problems with the midsole  

luckily i was able to get a pair that didn't 
have pink midsoles but as you can see from some  

of these photos right here there have been a lot 
of issues with manufacturing some people thought  

the upper was bleeding onto the shoe but that's 
something that takes a whole lot of time to happen  

it was actually in the process of creating 
the midsole where they messed up and they  

still ended up putting them out in production and 
sending them out hopefully to sell them for retail  

but then they all got recalled and sent back so 
everybody for example say there was 250 000 pairs  

they could have potentially messed up on 50 000 
pairs and then had to send those back so now the  

market is only able to buy 200 000 pairs this is 
all hypothetical numbers i don't know the exact  

numbers for how many pairs were made of this shoe 
right here but i know a lot more people would have  

had the opportunity to get the shoe if they didn't 
have an issue with the midsole and like the stuff  

that i showed you in the pictures right there now 
going to the upper when i touch the materials and  

feel everything i'm really not mad at it i think 
they did a solid job and this is something that  

i will be comparing to the previous retro from 
2014 just kind of showing you guys the difference
