[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

 The flavor is full with the fruity and acidic notes from the coffee slightly more pronounced that you might be used to from a grinder that has a flat versa grind size. consistency is very good, and a reduction in the amount of fines at the bottom of my cup was immediately noticeable compared to something lower end like the Breville Smart Grinder. Pro The grinds produced by these two grinders do honestly look like they're from completely different beans, but they're not. And the way that the shots extract from these two grinders is also night and day

 However, let's take a look at the form factor and features of this particular grinder. When you first impact your new 0, you will install the circular wooden grind tray and then extend only as much power cord as you need from a clever storage system. Three other items are included in the box, a user's manual, a nice wooden grinds, brush, and what has become the somewhat iconic 58 millimeter Niche dosing Cup. Now looks are always subjective, but personally I really, really like the appearance of this grinder

Niche Zero Grinder Review

At the top of conical grinders is the Niche Zero which makes a great coffee with lots of food texture but still less clarity as it’s flat burr counterparts. Most expensive grinders can also be a lot quieter and faster than the Encore which may justify the cost alone. There’s a huge difference in taste between something like a Baratza Encore or Virtuoso and a Baratza Forte.

I bought a $100 electric grinder and I don't regret it because it got me into this hobby. But every day, the teaspoon of fines in my cup reminds me this is temporary. The problem is: I don't know what the difference between a $200, $400, or $600 grinder is. I'll never get into espresso, so I don't know if those $1000+ grinders are even meant for purely drinking pour overs and french press. 

So my question is: For non-espresso drinkers, what is the difference between the price points of these grinders?

 and I think the selection that they've chosen to fix or attempted to fix here, is a very smart selection. For Example,, this is not a grinder trying to fix dosing for you. You are gonna weigh your coffee beans, put them in, grind them, right.? The grinder is gonna do no work to help you dose your coffee, whatsoever

. And I'll give you an example of just what feels nice and simple. I Got a bag of coffee from a friend and just a small bag, and I wanted to dial it in, and so here I would dose eighteen and a half grams, grind eighteen and a half grams,, pull a shot, and make an adjustment as necessary. And Yeah, the retention isn't completely zero, there's a little bit of exchange happening there, but it's so little that you don't need to purge between grinder adjustments, right

 Those tend to be the most temperamental when it comes to espresso. What I'm using today is Dogwoods Neon, so it's actually a blend of Columbia and Ethiopian coffees, so it's going to be bright and fruity. It's gonna have a nice syrupy body once we actually get the result that we want. so we're going to try again

Ariel Dials in the Eureka Mignon Notte

 So it does have this portafilter fork so I can still be hands-free if I wanted to, but to engage it, you actually need to hold it together so it is a little bit louder than some of the other line the Silenzio for example. if you put this side-by-side this doesn't have any sound deadening in it where that grinder does. so definitely going to have a little bit more noise I'll grind it for you again almost I'd play it for you again I forget that this one you so you do have to hold it in place. It's not a time dose I'm so used to that time dose, but it's gonna be just a normal so this is actually a nice option if you don't really need the time to if it just makes more sense for you to be grinding by the dose
