• The "tone-up" feature makes your skin appear more pale and lighter with the intent to even out your skin tone and maybe cover some redness. 

• I guess you can compare it to the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel as both has fragrance but are gel like and hydrating

I live in South East Asia, where the climate is hot and super humid like 95% of the time. My skin-type would probably be oily-to-combination, most oily in the t-zone and slightly acne-prone.

 I used it as a toner just FYI, because I wasn't using toners when I purchased this essence. I also don't have any redness in general, so maybe that's why there wasn't much of an effect. It's also not exactly hydrating with one layer alone. But you can layer this for better hydration

I’m a 72 year old woman who stopped trying moisturizer, because they all felt oily and caused me to break out.  The scent is light and clean and just makes me feel so good when I’m wrapping up my day/routine after applying it!! Please just get it!!

A friend of mine recommended this to me a year or so ago and I’m so glad she did. Im obsessed with this moisturizer, it’s the only one I use! The gel is cooling to the skin after a long day in the sun, getting out of the shower, or just after your regular skin care routine. Gel moisturizers are also good for oily skin, which I have, and I’ve found that it works well for me since it’s so light. My skin doesn’t overproduce more oil in response to it, which can happen with thicker moisturizers
