 $175 per room.  My neighbor spent $50k on his obsolete inbuilt whole house system. Mine sounds way better. He saw me pull out my phone, open the chooser and tap the rooms I wanted the music to play, and he began to weep

 Since they’re front ported you can help the bass by moving them close to the wall. You can even hang them on the wall.  Amazing how much you get here—DAC, amp, remote, Bluetooth radio, and really good sounding speakers, all for one low spend. This is where good sound is going

 This honestly isnt extremely surprising but the lack of a way to address it is the largest downside.  If youre buying this at 120$ its a bargain, at 150$ without an option for subwoofer out, id say consider an option with a subwoofer out if you care about bass. Bass is present but its a bit lackluster so keep that in mind

I’ve been looking for some speakers for monitoring mixes on tape, mainly coming from a cassette deck, or maybe my tascam portastudio. I’ve been looking at some of the Edifier R1280DB speakers and have seen a lot of mixed opinions about them (I was about to purchase a pair of those, but saw some reviews saying they lacked clarity in the vocals). Also I’d like to have the most flat response possible. I’d like to stay around the $100-150 area. Thanks in advance for your insight.

Need some advice for new speakers

So I had got the presonus eris 3.5 which wasn't bad but as a beat maker I needed a bit more umph on the bass and it did jus that! I never had any high end pair of monitors like the Yamaha to compare but it doesn't matter, as long as you know how it's suppose to sound it's a win=win situation for me as far far as price and quality(flat response)  Pros: Price, flat response for accurate mix (after updating it and stuffing ports), well built, because it has face front ports you can put them close to a wall. Cons: because of face front ports it can over power the mids a little bit but if you plug them up you should be fine, no TRS or XLR output, comes with a small but bulky AC adapter, has a little hissing noise if it's quite.

 I recently reviewed my clear audio concept. Turntable was in use not only with my hana ml cartridge, but the gold ring ethos. Also recently reviewed as well that was connected to my eat, igloo, petite, phono, preamp and for digital. I used either my bluesound node, 2i streamer or the iota vx mp3 network streaming and cd player, mainly for the cd player part people want to know the base performance of a speaker more than almost anything else

 The impossibly low bass lines of mark sandman's, two-string bass performance on his band morphines of the night, were noticeably absent when not being played in the most subtle of songs. The texture of a bass, guitar was never more apparent than here. That said, on the more driving of numbers played on this album, the bass guitar was so rich and plentiful that it created an atmosphere all on its own. The sound seemingly came from everywhere, but there was never a hint of muddiness boominess or any other kind of nest

 The specific waveguide shape makes sure the dispersion of the high frequencies match that of the woofer, creating a better sound stage with its control directivity. So, while the looks are certainly a stylistic choice, they're clearly for function as well. Other improvements on the mark 2 include a new, slightly larger cabinet and cabinet bracing design, adding depth to the sound and moving from an aluminum cone driver to a paper. One bucard have found a paper cone driver that has a specific mixture of natural fibers to make it more stiff to produce a quick, accurate and deep bass sound, yet still retain the superior natural sounding mids that a paper cone traditionally offers

 All of the base performances i heard during my time with the mark ii, went to 11 when adding in my svs 3000 micro subwoofer to the mix. As a matter of fact, none of the components used ever had any issue of blending brilliantly together, and i personally wouldn't want to be without this combo. That said, a subwoofer wasn't a necessity and i think you'll be quite surprised at how low and how powerful this smaller cabinet sounds. This is precisely where quality parts and superior engineering come into play

 Without what made the s 400 so fun to listen to to begin with so anyways? That is enough praise for the mark ii. Now it is time to balance out this review by going over some caveats. So let's go [ Music ]! So here's the thing when you look at the s 400 mark ii, for what it really is, which is a tiny speaker, that's meant to deliver big good all-around performance. Then it's very difficult to criticize this speaker because it does such a good job of achieving its goal, and yet it's not perfect, and there are some things that you may need to be aware of if you're considering something like this for yourself, starting with bass

. So, look as you can imagine, the larger model 5 is going to give you more. Bass is going to play at louder volumes and the treble because it uses an aluminum dome. Tweeter is gon na have a bit more energy to it, more sharpness to it, which, by the way, you can't attenuate on the back of the speaker and otherwise the klh model fives do a better job of laying down a rock solid center image in a way That the s400 mark ii's can't quite muster unless you really fuss around with placement

 So what i'll do is i'll flash an image for you guys, so you can look at that and compare it to this guy right here. Okay, so that is essentially going to be it. The only other thing worth mentioning here is that the new mark ii is built in indonesia and not china. So, with all of that said now, it is time to talk about what the new mark ii brings to the table in terms of performance

 But still you may still prefer the kef because it has that sharper brighter sound. So that is it for the first comparison. So now, let's move on with the last comparison of this video okay, so i finally reached the last segment for this review. So forgive me as i just leave the camera on a tripod, and i talk to you all from the side here now
