 It comes with the standard little USB cable which is interchangeable with any other you might have, but this one has a little nearly gone and also comes with a spare ink cartridge. These are a standard cartridge type known as D1 then not manufactured or sold on you, but any you find should be compatible. although Neo does have a list of recommended ones from specific manufacturers which you can find our website. The pen needs charging when it arrives and the red light here indicates that is charging

 We essentially bought this as an alternative to a graphics tablet, which we may still get in future Anyway, their pen arrives in a sleek, minimal box, definitely taking some cues from Apple in terms of presentation. The form factor of the pen is totaling like an orb, and most of the other options out there are definitely on the chunkier side, so it's great to feel as it does. Their build quality and design is very good. It's a nice object in and of itself and doesn't look or feel particularly like something digital

As a Software engineer who got into fountain pens during the pandemic, I haven't had to carry my pens very far yet 😂 but if I ever get around to taking a pen somewhere (traveling with a journal maybe?), my current pick would be my twsbi mini with a CI nib. I basically only write for myself, and I love how the CI(/stub) nib writing is oh so very fountain pen specific.

I’m curious as to how our EDCs may be different depending on occupation and age. 

I’m a high school student and my EDC consists of a Jinhao 51A in my pocket and two Pilot Metros in my pencil case.

Whats’s your EDC (everyday carry) pen?

This pen is a little overpriced. There is a lot of hype and good reviews of this pen. It isn't horrible by any means but it is a bit more plastic than I expected for the money. Writes well and the piston fill operates well, but the money may be better spent elsewhere

 The ink they hold is sub-par and the writing is far behind what you can get if you spent a little more. I ended up throwing out the Metropolitan quite early cuz it wasn't to my liking. I'd go with TWSBI for 50-60 USD, the quality is much nicer, feels much better, and writes smoothly, has the look of elegance. I bought the TWSBI Diamond and TWSBI Mini with stub nib and extra fine nib and they both write really well

I am graduating this summer and really want to treat myself to a smooth and STURDY fountain pen. I am a bit clumsy so preferably one that can handle being dropped. Either still in production or vintage (I am willing to scour the internet for a good second hand find). I don't know a lot about fountain pens so any recommendations are welcome!

Sturdy and long lasting fountain pens?

TWSBI Diamond 580 AL. I've just picked up the Mini and the weight is very reassuring. Clocks in at 32g for the full sized version. Lovely pen

My first fountain pen was the lamy al star. I got it over the safari because i expected to be a lil heavier. While it definitely feels good and i love the pen i do wish it was a bit heftier. It just feels too light it my hands it’s kinda odd. For my next pen i really want a clear one but i don’t want it to be super light plastic. i love the clear twsbi but i’m not sure which is the heaviest. I’m also open to other suggestions but i would appreciate the help! Thanks guys!
