I'm looking for minor improvements mostly (I can't really see a pathway to 10lb BPW without dropping big money on DCF gear) and making sure I have reasonable climate protection. Less weight would be nice, as I'd like to skip the onion valley resupply but I just don't know how my body will respond to that kind of altitude to do that kind of mileage. The Vega stove is lighter and packs up smaller. Having the feet built onto the canister attachment is also very convenient (MSR has a separate plastic attachment that can be lost). I also like having a slightly longer fuel line and the more aggressive pot arms on the Vega. I will say

This is caused by the sleeping pad being too hard and deflating it will help. In the case that your hip feels cold after deflating, get a CCF or something soft and place it under your hip area
