Great for the long haul.  Lightweight, pockets for GU / chews and phone.  I like to freeze the hydration pack and is nice and cool against my back for warm weather runs in addition to ice cold drinking water!

 This is lightweight highly adjustable and comfortable to run in the water bladder that comes with. It is plenty for any run-up to a marathon. Very happy with this vest prefer this hydration pack to camelbak brand i'd been with for nearly a decade. All of the nathan products seem to be well engineered with comfort in mind

 Pockets are really convenient and hold phone and snacks. Secure really looking forward to getting in some long runs with this. I bought this for my wife for her birthday because she told me to she loves how it fits and the straps don't rub in dumb places like underarms there's plenty of space for snacks and additional water containers. The only downside is that, if a bear or vault latched onto it, there are two straps that must be undone instead of one quick release: nice compact pack for running there are more expensive packs that provide a more compact fit, but for the money this is the Best mix provides adequate storage for large phones and nutrition for longer runs absolutely love

 I do like the pack because it doesn't cause chaffing and it can fit a lot of different essentials. My last comment is that I tried to use some of my exoflasks with the long straws in the front (from my other vests) and unfortunately, that doesn't really work either since the front "loops" are too far away from the pockets where my bottles sit - so my straws were bouncing around all unsecured and that wasn't fun.

It fits very snug, but I am in the process of losing weight so I pray it will fit loser by the time I have my first 5K in mid July. I have lost 48 pounds.

Great backpack overall , few minor issues

 You can just simply kind of roll that back unclip it and access your hydration reservoir. So it's right in there, like I said hydro pack, built reservoir, really easy to access kind of. Has that zip closure at the top, and just as simple and sturdy it's a really nice included benefit with the Raptor pack and just having that dedicated pocket, makes it much easier to get to that piece and take care of all that business. On the front of the pack, we do have a few organizational features, so you do have space to put extra gear, whether that's additional layers tools, whatever you need for your ride or your hike

 To give you some extra airflow, it is kind of frameless, so it doesn't really have any aluminum or any real structure here. So it is very flexible and contours. Well, the Bayeux stretch, harness and hip belt are really comfortable, unlight weight and they kind of stretch to form to the user as well. So with the shoulder straps, you do have some light padding behind that airy mesh and it is perforated

 We'Ve got a stretch mesh pocket, so you can throw a light weight windbreaker in there. If you need to, if you need to put a bike lock in there, I'm sure it would fit as well really nice stretchy pocket on the front and at the bottom of this pack, you've actually got a pretty cool feature. Osprey includes a tool pouch so down at the base of the pack. You'Ve got an included and removable tool pouch

 uh so we go inside. you see it pass really really easily. into this trap because there is a zipper on it. So that's just it

 Yes you will have a nitrition bag taste but it's not that bad, it's it's It's a little taste and you see the straw goes straight into the strap. The only thing you have to pass it through is uh, this little guy and when you're done drinking you see there is this little magnet that you can place whatever you want and it go straight there. So take it, swallow done and you can eat. Maybe not every time

 into this trap because there is a zipper on it. So that's just it. And the bag is just right here. It's a three liter bag

My review of the Osprey Raptor 10

 The zippers themselves are good quality YKK metal (plastic teeth on the zip) although not as heavy/large as you might see on, say the sleeping bag compartment, of a larger pack. A heavy rain would wet this through and get everything in side damp but light rain isn't going to ruin anything inside.

 Mine is red with grey and black buckles. Each zipper has a plastic loop pull to make it easy to grab with gloved hands. A heavy rain would wet this through and get everything in side damp but light rain isn't going to ruin anything inside

- Magnetic clip for the bladder hose on the chest strap which, so far, has not released except when I want it to. It holds the hose very tight to your chest so it won't snag on things but is easy to disengage even while riding. If you did snag a branch, it should release at the chest rather than tear the hose but I hope I won't be testing this theory.

- One compression strap on each side so the pack won't flop around on your back if it is only partially full. This helps to control flop when the bladder is half empty as well.
