We bought the Napoleon Prestige 500 natural gas grill for our new house. At 250lbs it is heavy. Let me more correctly state it is top heavy.

Can anybody here share a real world experience with a Napoleon grill? Good or bad? They look solid and I like the lifetime warranty, but curious how they cook and how much the wavy grates bother you.

 Weber's grills outside of the Summit Line aren't what they once were, and you will notice that those are waaaay more expensive than an equivalent Napoleon.

I have a Napoleon Prestige 500 gas grill that I use to feed a family of 6 at least 1x and up to 3x a week. It’s been great for weekend BBQ’s where we are entertaining friends and family as well. Overall, Love the convenience and ease of gas, especially during the week.

 This grill features Napoleon's lift-ease lid, and its roll-top design means that you have zero clearance at the back of the grill, allowing the grill to fit in tight areas if space is limited. The P500RSIB-1 sits on a powder-coated galvanized steel base that features double stainless steel access doors. When opened, you can see that the propane version of the grill includes a reinforced tank holder which will keep the tank solidly in place.  Hey everyone, this is Josh with All Things Barbecue, and today I want to talk to you about the P500RSIB-1 by Napoleon Grills.

 The P500RSIB-1 is an update to Napoleon's P500RSIB with some great additions that make this must-have grill even better.

 Let's begin with Napoleon's legendary cooking system. The P500RSIB-1 features four

 304 stainless steel burners that produce 12,000 BTUs apiece.

 Each burner is lit by Napoleon's jet-fire ignition, which ensures consistent lighting time after time.

 Next you'll find Napoleon's patented sear plate system, which raises every other stainless steel plate to ensure even temperatures across the cooking grate.
