I tried their 25L bag and the straps wouldn’t adjust enough for me…at 5’2’’ (why couldn’t they make the straps so they could adjust to fit a small person?). The pack is unable to stay tight to the frame. The biggest annoyance with this is that you CANNOT access anything in the pack without loosening up multiple side straps. If Mystery Ranch would simply make points of contact to keep the back of the bag itself attached to the frame independently of the compression straps this bag would be untouchable! But since you can't secure it to the frame it's hard to get the load to distribute as it should on your body. I really really really want to like this pack but I'll most likely just sell if after this season

The options for adjustments are perfect allowing me to get a great fit and seated perfectly along my back and shoulders, I hate packs that hang low because that unsettling center of gravity gets tiring after a while. On the other hand it is easy to adjust the straps on the move which is nice because if anyone has ever worn a pack for an extended period of time, then you know how nice it is to loosen, tighten, and switch to sling mode here and there to help free up spots on your back that get too hot over time because even with breathable material like that present on this pack, the bottom line is that there is still weight pushing material along your back and you will still get hot depending on how long you wear the pack. The primary harnesses are thick and comfortable, even when I loaded the pack for weight I didn't feel anything digging into my shoulders. I'm used to seeing red marks on my shoulders with other packs and this comfort is something I'm not used to

I have been using the 2DayAssault for about 60 days straight. My biggest criteria for purchasing this bag was the rear pocket zipper for the laptop. I have a 15" MacBook Pro and it fits easily in the laptop pocket with easy access from rear pocket zipper or through the top. I use the bag daily for work but I have also taken two 4day weekend trips with nothing more than the 2DayAssault

The zippers are sturdy, and the locking mechanisms are easy to figure out. I only use the locking mechanisms when I'm in places where pick-pockets are a problem. It's nice knowing I have them when I need them. I love that the whole thing is RFID protected instead of just one pocket

So I’m able to carry two laptops(!), and a plethora of other things. The larger compartment has an internal pocket to store a laptop up to 13 inches comfortably. However, the padding was a bit thin at the bottom of the laptop pocket. So I added a small, folded towel to help protect my laptop more. This is my only gripe with this backpack

I ride a motorcycle to work and it fits nicely to my back without any sway or wind drag. It also sits high enough not to interfere with a gym bag behind me.
