Sometimes I forgot that I had it. This pack is very comfortable and lightweight. I had a camel, 4 pouches of kool-aid, 550 chord, personal effects, and a tackle box and I never felt like I had to shift the bag around to give my shoulders a break. I carried this pack for close to 6 hours that day and it performed greatly

I love how comfortable it is and enjoy that it breaths so well while hiking around the lower back. I just bought one for my wife and she enjoys it too! I use it for travel as it fits in the overhead bins of most airlines I have flown and qualifies as a carry on. It is also perfect for those who elect to carry a sidearm while hiking. I recently purchased this model and am pleased with it, especially the wider top of the main zipper. However, I am unhappy with two features that were removed. One is the side zipper pocket on the side with only one layer of mesh for waterbottle. It was very helpful to me for stowing things I wanted easy access to, but didn't want to be in a hip pocket or top pocket where clumsy use or a haphazard set-down may cause harm to them

I’m a 5’5 woman and after adjusting the straps I can carry it with ease. The MOLLE straps will make it easy to attach things that need to be within easy reach/removable (I’ll probably swap my med kit into a pouch to attach versus keeping the items in the pack). And the inner pockets and pouches are all organized symmetrically in a way that makes sense, which makes it super easy to find items in a full pack.

I got this pack because I hike with my family and we like to have one larger pack and one smaller light weight pack so we can trade off and carry each other’s gear. This pack would have worked for that, but 40L is larger than we needed (30L, we later found out, would have worked too). When this pack is understuffed, you can cinch the size with the straps, but doing so creates this poopy diaper effect between the two bottom straps.
