Muck Arctic Sport II Mid - Women's vs Sorel Caribou Boots

After about 30 minutes of shoveling my driveway, walking in the snow and riding four wheeler for a few minutes my toes were noticeably cold. I was wearing fuzzy socks which don’t provide much warmth, so I’ll be ordering some wool socks. So far I am as I’m writing this inside my toes are hurting while warming up so they definitely got very cold within 30 minutes. As for fit, they fit ok in the foot part

First bought a size 10.5, because that's what i typically wear, and found on arrival that they were significantly too big for me. Promptly returned them, and ordered (just to be safe) the next two sizes down, a 10, and a 9.5

They are fairly comfy other than a bit small. I read so many reviews saying they ran big so order a size down. I wear a 7.5-8 & my other 2 pairs of muck boots are on the large size so I'm a little bummed that these are a bit tight

These boots do just what they are supposed to! Keep feet dry and warm! Quality is on point as well! I work on a farm in the elements and they are a must have!

The extra roominess with this pair helps with keeping my feet warmer and chillblain free. I usually wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and have plenty of room for extra thick socks. They do feel too big if wearing super thin or no socks but not so much that I can't walk in them, it's just enough to be awkward and kind of annoying

Not a big deal. Warm: I wore them to the Winter Classic at UofM stadium. Given that it was below zero and we were just sitting watching the hockey game, they were pretty warm. Did end up putting a few hot packs down them, but no complaint

Nice looking, fits well, is very comfortable and warm, and I can snow shoe all day in them. BUT, I agree with PJC that they are "Definitely not good on ice or ground covered with a light cover of snow". The new hobnail sole pattern affords virtually no traction, which I quickly realized and have relied on my old gray beaters and a new pair of Men's Kamik® Alborg WATERPROOF Pac Boots, Tan that I have recently purchased, both of which have a lug sole pattern with excellent traction. I am writing this review after mistakenly wearing my new hobnail Sorels to walk the dog early this morning, encountered a patch of packed snow covered by a light layer of fresh snow and suddenly had both feet slip out from underneath me to land flat on my back

Also, I love the color of these boots, they feel a little bit more feminine than the tall, clunky, black chore boots.
