Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag Review

 Today we're taking a look at the Mosso Natural Air Purifying Bag. Now I've had a couple of

 these for a while now. I first started using them when I discovered my daughter's cup of

 milk had become secretly hidden under the passenger seat and my car read the milk. So

 I got this and a couple other things to try. I found this was very effective. Now I got

 the charcoal version of it here. It comes in a few different scents and smells and I

 really am a fan of it. A couple of things right off the bat. It looks nice. This is

 a nice little bag here. They say this is good for two years. I change this out every six

 months or so but that may just be myself. I can't say I've noticed a point of needing

 it to do it at that point. It's just what I've done in the past. You can put a little

 date on here when you open it to keep track of that. Past that it's just great. Now I

 haven't tried but I'm assuming you could kind of peel this off if you wanted. It seems to

 be pretty well stitched on there by a little knife and you can take it off. It does have

 a little hook here if you want to dangle it. I throw this in my car. We also have a cat

Works, good for the price

It does work.   I wish they made the bags a little bigger because with all the rain we have had, the basement had a terrible smell. The Moso has helped but need to buy more bags so that hopefully the smell will go away completely.

 These Mini Moso Bags from Moso Natural are 2.5 x 7 x 1 inches in size –actually one of my bags is 2.75 inches wide, but they are smushable. Each bag contains 50 grams of bamboo charcoal in a liner that is covered with a charcoal grey heathered fabric

 I'm not sure how well this works in the winter, when UV indices are low. Moso claims that the sachets can be reused for up to two years. Ever Bamboo, another big vendor of bamboo charcoal products, says one year. Your experience may vary

 I'm not sure what the fabric content of the cover is. Moso calls it linen. If it's linen, it's coated with something; it feels like polyester.  Apparently, bamboo charcoal acts as a deodorizer by trapping the big, stinky molecules in its many pores

 The charcoal has trapped the offending molecules so that they can't escape. She is entirely satisfied with the Moso Bags, which is a surprise. Conveniently, each sachet has a tag in the side seam on which you can write the date that you opened the package –so you will hopefully remember when to take them for a sunbath and when it might be time to replace. It's nice to find an inexpensive, nontoxic product that works

What do you know? They work!

 I put them out in the sun for a second recharging and it rained befire I could get them back inside. A good soaking apparently changes the composition of the charcoal contents, transforming it from a light weight, particulate material to a mostly solidified mass. I'm trying to dry them inside, but 24 hours later they're still a sodden mess.  Next time I'll try putting their replacement in a plastic bag when recharging after checking on whether that could interfere with the effectiveness of sunlight's abiliity to recharge the charcoal)

 When I take off my hikers at bedtime, I put these babies in the damp, smelly shoes overnight, and next morning voila! The shoes and orthotics are dry and have no smell. A fantastic product, with one tiny exception

 I've found it works just as well and has saved me from having to throw the shoes away.  The items came in quickly and the price is extremely fair, especially considering it saves you from having to buy a new pair of shoes. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and will likely make another.

 As for as an air cleaner, it performs fine, it is a box with a HEPA filter. It's quiet, that's probably the best feature.
