The Subharmonicon is similar in size to the Mother 32 and DFAM semi modular synths and they are good as standalone monophonic synths (each with special characteristics and character) but are great if you pair up all 3 modules and patch the audio and modulation paths across all 3 synth modules or pair them with a standalone semi modular synthesizer and keyboard like the Moog Grandmother and the Moog Matriarch.. they are all Euro Rack compatible and are perhaps a easier entry to the Euro rack world for those new to subtractive analog synthesizers .

5mm earbuds that I keep connected to it all the time. It’s small enough that I can keep it in my narrow little bedside table drawer, meaning it’s always close by when I feel like a quick jam. The faders move a little too easily for my taste, but they’re very responsive and accurate, so in practice they’re a joy to use.

The Sub Phatty is simply the best synth you can buy at the $1000 and below price range. Not that this is 1978 and there is a lot of competition in analog monosynths, still this is a great addition. Reminds me of a Korg MS-20, but with Moog sound. There are presets, but it's a great synth for learning, if you don't know you VCF from your VCO

It's probably not a selling point for those with more experience using synthesizers, but as a beginner this was a huge resource for me. It also just looks really cool, and makes the product seem more legit. -Price Point; from reading dozens of reviews and comparisons, and talking to veteran synthesizer enthusiasts and a few industry professionals, you're not going to find too many options as powerful as the Minilogue xd for this price
