It's fun and competitive without the periods of boredom or drawn-out play time that its board game counterpart is known for.  She's bright, but I thought that was a good testament to the fact that it's not hard to learn. Oh, and it's one of those games that is a mix of luck and strategy, so the kids can easily beat me if the cards are right, making it a nice chance for anyone to come away a winner.

 At first the instructions seem a bit daunting (I have little patience for reading through long directions, probably because someone is always talking to me while I'm doing it), but we managed to learn and play an entire game in less than 30 minutes while another child took a whole piano lesson, so that's not really that bad. It's not particularly similar to monopoly, but that's not a bad thing because while I like monopoly, it's pretty complex to really play right, and it obviously can take forever. It took me a few minutes to really appreciate the point of the game and all the rules, but now that I've played a dozen times, I'd put it at the top of my list of favorite games. My seven year old wanted to play the first day we got it, but I was tired and didn't want to explain the directions, so I made her watch the 10 year old play with me, and she literally needed almost no help when I played with her next

Do not recommend. It might be salvageable as a cooperative game if I can come up with some rules. I only brought 4-5 games for memorial day weekend. I had the opposite problem this time, didn’t get to play some of my favorites that I brought along - Monopoly Deal

What Did You Play This Week? - (July 26, 2021)

  It plays fast, 15-30 minutes, no counting, rules are fun...and what I enjoy most is that it can be far more cutthroat and competitive

 For example: Pass Go, Forced Deal, Sly Deal, Deal Breaker...  Although without doing that the game can still be much fun and swing wildy, making for exciting victories or defeats

 Even if one person appears to be dominating with bank and properties. You can draw a Deal Breaker and steal a whole property and then draw a card that completes your 3rd and win just like that.  Keep your bank full and build your properties fast.  This is alot of fun and I don't think we'll ever go back to a full board version of Monopoly

 Yet we get tired of the tedious amount of time and counting and all of the unnecessary mundane things that must be done to play the full game.  Monopoly Deal eliminates all of that.  It plays fast, 15-30 minutes, no counting, rules are fun.

If you haven't heard of this game already, let us introduce you to one of the most popular adult card games, Cards Against Humanity. This game will be an instant hit if irreverent humor fits your friend group. Setup and explaining the rules take only a couple of minutes at most, and within a single round, players are fully locked in and "get it." Gameplay revolves around a prompt card. Each player supplies their own anonymous response card, aiming to get the judge of the round to pick their card by using shocking hilarity, cleverness, or both. This game paved the way for the array of NSFW &#40;Not Safe For Work&#41; adult games on the market, like an inappropriate grandfather, cranked up to 11.
However, Cards Against Humanity is not for everyone. This game offers heaps of vulgarity and swear words, which can be unabashedly offensive to many who don't appreciate this kind of humor. If shocking indecency doesn't make you laugh, steer clear of this game. Know your audience, as there's no way to filter this polarizing game. The other drawback is that once you've played through all the cards, the game's entertainment drops sharply. Luckily, CAH has 600 cards in the starter deck and a whopping 28 expansion packs available. They aren't free, but they do extend the life of this game. Regardless, the first time you play will be memorable &#40;for better or worse&#41;.

 Now that person will pick one black card, read the question on it, or the fill in the blank statement. Everyone will think, look at their cards and take the card that they think would make the funniest answer or fill in the blank to that and they take that card and they all pass it to the cards are the cards are then goes around and reads them. The idea is of course to try to get something that you think will be a funny answer in anticipation of the kinds of questions that you're going to be asked Here Let me share some of those with you. Now this is an adult party game and as the box suggests, it's a game for horrible people because the cards can be offensive, shocking, and gross. But don't let that turn you off because it can be hilarious and a lot of fun too. The makers recommend the game be played by folks who are 17 years of age or older because the cards may contain references to sex, drugs, and foul language
