Meh! I wanted to love but honestly the Dyson or Shark work just as good. I had to replace pieces on the last Shark every year or so which is what prompted this purchase. We’ve had over a year and while nothing has had to be replaced, it doesn’t seem to like Rottweiler hair. There’s always hair still on the floors (LVP and tile)

Not overly impressed

 ‘Filter cone’. This is a coarse pre-filter which, if it clogs, will definitely cut down the suction power of the vac. Accessing it requires removing the main dust receptacle, then pulling a handle which releases the filter cone, which lives in the dustbin. After vacuuming my house one time (one medium-sized dog on premises), this ‘filter cone’ was wrapped with dog hair and definitely needed cleaning

 This thing is interesting. It lives in its own compartment behind the dustbin, is about the size of a small thermos, has a handle to pull it out of the vac. Every so often while you’re using the vacuum you’re supposed to hold down the “Clean” button on top of the vac. That starts a special stepper motor that shakes the ‘fine dust’ filter; any loose dirt on it is supposed to fall to the bottom of the receptacle that the filter is in

 Keep in mind that all this is happening inside a filthy dustbin. And be very careful with that screwdriver so you don’t break the catch.  3. The last filter is called the ‘fine dust filter’

 Every so often while you’re using the vacuum you’re supposed to hold down the “Clean” button on top of the vac. That starts a special stepper motor that shakes the ‘fine dust’ filter; any loose dirt on it is supposed to fall to the bottom of the receptacle that the filter is in. Then every six months you’re supposed to remove the receptacle, run water in it, shake it, dump it out, then let the filter dry for 24 hours. So obviously the vac is out of service for a full day

This is a GREAT vacuum, but I can’t recommend it...

 As a matter of fact, it comes with Mila's bestbear floor tool, which is what we call a parquet twister. It does come with an electric power head. This is the only bagless model that does come with an electric power head which is a carpet tool with brush rolls with a motor inside here which drives the roller brushes. Okay, so that's why this will be capable to do any type of an area like any type of a carpet

 All right. its bagless so you don't have to change filters. Who is it? Good for anyone who's got a lot of pet hair to deal with. Or if you have wall-to-wall carpeting? No problem

 All right now. this machine here comes with a five year warranty on everything and seven years on the motor. We are a warranty center formula now. We also ship these to all Canadian provinces for free

 By the way, a power line goes with all Miele models. Well, is this the right model for you? Well, if you want a bagless vacuum from Miele, this is their top of the line. There are three bagless models from Miele right now. the Hard Floor model, the Total Care model, and then this baby which is again the top-of-the-line model called the Tote at the Cat and Dog

 I was used to the power button on my Kenmore which was on the handle. Super convenient for turning on and off during jobs. Not this one. It’s on the canister

Not sure it is worth the money

 You don't even have to hold the button down to finish the job...just hit the 'cord' button once, and (assuming you didn't have the cord in all kinds of knots or with obstructions in the way) it will suck up the entire cord, nice and neat

 Thankfully, Amazon agreed to give me a full refund, and in its place I bought this CX1. Unlike the Triflex, there was no learning curve..

 And while it was still working perfectly fine, 17 years later, I decided to give that vacuum to someone else, and get myself a new one.  In between that vacuum and the Miele Blizzard CX1 (which I purchased and ultimately decided to keep), I'd also tried out the Miele Triflex.  But first, a comparison of this Miele Blizzard CX1 to my older model Miele Canister.

 That said, however, it does seem to 'glide' much more easily on my hardwood floors, than my older Miele Canister. In addition, the CX1 has a one-touch button to 'suck up' the electrical cord, when you are finished vacuuming. You don't even have to hold the button down to finish the job.

Perfection! My review will compare this to Miele Triflex and Miele C1 Canister

 It is quiet, it moves effortlessly, it is very light for a corded machine. The design is very artistic making it lovely to look at when stored somewhere. It is bagless. This has to be the greatest consumer vacuum on the market

 Truly engineered to check all the boxes. I hope to use this for many years which is why I went bagless, because in my research the bagged version of this machine is rated even higher.

 The rollers move like butter across my hard floor surfaces to the point that I enjoy just moving it around, like a little kid. There's almost no way you have more dirt and dander in your house than I do, and your allergies probably aren't as bad as mine either. So it means a lot when I say that this vacuum will tackle any pet hair and dirt problem you have. You will be able to vacuum yourself instead of begging someone else to do it for you, and you will absolutely not be able to detect dust in the exhaust. You'll be able to empty the canister even if you used to have to have someone else do it, and it holds so much you won't have to empty it as often

 No dust comes out of the Miele's exhaust. The canister opens more than 90 degrees, and the opening is large, so emptying is not a mess. The extra dust filter makes a huge difference. if you didn't know, it has a fine dust filter that contains the smaller dust particles and can be emptied wet so it doesn't become airborne

If you're shopping at a mid-range price point, the best HEPA vacuum for allergies we've tested is the Airsign HEPA Vacuum. It doesn't have the grab-and-go convenience of the Roborock H7, but it is cheaper and better-suited for longer clean-ups due to its corded design. It has an onboard HEPA filter with charcoal filtration, helping to seal in fine allergens and minimize odor, and uses biodegradable dirtbags with a built-in seal cover.
