  Most of my writing is pretty temporary; to-do lists, phone numbers, or scribbling nonsense just testing a new pen or ink.  The Mnemosyne line has been much more practical for me; I love that I can have high quality paper that's easy to rip out without destroying the notebook lol.

Current state of the Mnemosyne collection. I don't have a problem, I can quit whenever I want...

  If you are using this book with Sharpie Markers or anything like that, I wouldn't suggest it but for an average user, I'd say it would be a good start before shelling out twice as much for a bigger brand name.

Perfect Little Bujo Find!

Great value for money, fantastic paper, more feedback than rhodia, Clairefontaine, tomoe River or apica (all of those are pretty smooth). So if those papers are too "slippery" for you, midori MD is the paper to go for. Also, they lay open flat, you have good shading, zero feathering or bleedthrough.

Paper: Kokuyo Campus has yet to disappoint me in terms of  quality : price. Much better than Midori, Apica, Rhodia, Clairefontaine and Mnemosyne--much cheaper too.

Best pen(s), ink(s) and notebook(s) for college (specifically taking lots of notes)

I *could* keep buying multi-packs of the Kokuyo Campus version, but the covers are dull and repetitive, and I'd love something cuter. My original Qlia notebook had paintings of buttered toast on the cover.

Arrived in great condition. Looks like there is a little smudge on the back, but really this is such a minor complaint because it is small and doesn't inhibit its function or make it look bad. I'm really happy with my purchase! I haven't used it yet, so I don't know how well the binding will hold up, but it looks sturdy, unlike the ones that you buy here in the states. I will update my review later with durability rating, but honestly it looks like it will hold up

BEST QUALITY FOR PRICE; NO NONSENSE DESIGN

There is something about the size and thickness and number of pages and ruling that just come together to make for an ideal journal for me. Of course the paper is fountain pen friendly - very smooth such that a nib glides - much like a Rhodia paper. But the page size - not too big, for easy carry, and not to small, just feels like the right size. When comparing the cost of this journal vs other equivalent journals it just rises to the top of the great value list for me
