The Miclon LNE 26 is an affordable Class 2 e-bike with a throwback cruiser style that impressed us with its distance range. In our range testing, it managed to travel just over 21 miles without even pedaling while using the throttle only. Its 360Wh battery capacity helped the Miclon go the distance, but it also seems to use that power quite efficiently. It has a retro look with a low, step-thru frame that makes it easy to mount and dismount and an extensive range of seat and handlebar adjustments to fit a wide range of user heights. It's a comfortable bike with a relaxed, upright seated position and a laid-back ride quality. The LNE 26 has five pedal assist output settings and a throttle, and it has no problem reaching its top speed of 15.5 mph. It also comes equipped with user-friendly features like fenders, a rear cargo rack, and a headlight.
With a 250W rear hub motor, the LNE 26 can't match the faster, more powerful competition's power output or top speeds. However, this lower power output is one of the main reasons it can travel such a long distance on a single charge. While the controls have decent ergonomics, the simple LED display shows only the most basic information and can be challenging to see in bright light conditions. Beyond that, we feel this good-looking affordable electric model is a solid option for the rider who prioritizes distance and style over speed.

it's too heavy to be useful to ride without power, and when your battery ultimately fails (they all do sometime) or is stolen, bike is no longer useful. Most ebikes from China use a more generic battery style, enabling the user to get a replacement that will work, but not the LNE-26, relegating it to the trash heap after your battery is dead or gone.  Making things worse for this company is that it's owned by Aukey, who also owns MacWheel, which originally offered this bike, and Metakoo who offered, among others, the Cybertrack 100, also offered by MacWheel and Miclon. There has been speculation that MacWheel and Metakoo are gone from Amazon for suspicious or fraudulent reviews

 I was able to get 30+ miles to the charge a few times using pedal assist level1. Using throttle is not so frugal with the amps. The rear rack is nice, brakes work well and the entry level Shimano 7 speed drivetrain is smooth and effective, making quick work of little hills when combined with the 250 watt motor. Not sure if the motor helps much on longer hills

customer service is miserable

 We like it.  I would consider it an entry level bike for the price and we would recommend it.

 The seat keeps tipping. No matter how hard I tighten it, it will still tip. The box showed up with holes in it. The crank had a scratch on it and frame did too

love it! Battery life last a good while i ride it to work and back so 30min bike ride there and back. Love the fenders they help. Battery is easy to charge. Assembly was a bit tricky but the video helped a lot

While we loved the wealth of features, it made assembling the Nakto a little more involved and time-consuming than most. It wasn't difficult by any means, but it took an hour to complete the process. We were also a little underwhelmed by this bike's pedal-assist system. Not only were the display and controls quite basic, but it only has one pedal assist level. It works; it's just a little less sophisticated than some of the other bikes we tested. That said, we still feel this is a quality, comfortable e-bike with a great range and cargo capacity.

 It'S really just overkill. So that's another reason why they could save money or you could save money really by buying this bike by getting a little slightly lower voltage battery. But, like i said, the acceleration is very good on this bike and it will do 20 miles an hour right out of the box. You can you can go into the menus and change

 I spent a good month checking out e-bikes in fine detail before going with this one, and i guess, if you kind of want the short version of it, i'm extremely happy with it and i highly recommend it. So why do i say that several reasons actually first thing: i want to talk about and kind of the most important thing on an e-bike is the battery and the motor. Those are the two by far most expensive things to replace if anything goes wrong with them and those two things really determine the functionality, the performance and just the overall, how good the e-bike is. First, let's talk about the motor it's 250 watts, which is not the most powerful in the world

 The only thing you need to put on is the front tire and the handlebars, which is extremely easy to do and will take you probably 15 minutes, tops next thing. The shimano gear system on this bike, or rather the gear system on this bike, is a shimano which is good because shimano make really good gears and hubs and shifters now, it's obviously not their highest end shimano gear set, but it's a pretty dang good one. Nonetheless, and for the purposes of this bike, which is not made for off-road use, it will handle anything you're going to throw at it 100 percent. As far as the brakes go, it does have v brakes on the front and rear you're, not getting um disc brakes with this bike, however, for city riding disc brakes just weigh more they're a more complicated system and they're more expensive to put on the bike

 So you really don't need them to be honest with you, these this bike does stop very quickly and since disc brakes really don't make a big difference unless you were to get hydraulic disc brakes, most bikes that come with disc brakes will have mechanical disc brakes, and It really doesn't stop much quicker mechanical disc brakes versus a standard v brake. It'S only when you get into hydraulic disc brakes that you really notice a difference and there's no way you're going to get a bike at this price with hydraulic disc brakes on it. But, like i said for city riding street riding, this thing stops exceptionally fast. You wouldn't need anything more than it

 I guess you're not getting a lot of extras here for 599 bucks, [, Music ]. On the electrical side, the bike is rocking a 250 watt rear hub motor. That gets it up to just shy of 20 miles an hour or 32 km/h, though the pole is strong enough and the hill climbing is decent enough that I suspect it's actually closer to a 350 watt motor. I still had to pedal some on hills to keep my speed up, but that's pretty standard with 350 watt drives
