Merrell Moab 2 Mid WP - Women's vs Eddie Bauer Mountain Ops Hiking Boots

I developed plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis in the last year and have had to find new shoes with arch support and cushioning. These boots are perfect right out of the box! I struggle to find shoes that are comfortable and don’t cause additional foot pain. You can feel the arch support as soon as you put them on. I’ve worn them all day and still no foot pain the next morning

These Eddie Bauer boots fit well, feel great, and are well made (sewed in many places instead of just glued) ! The shipment arrived in a timely fashion.

I love the fit. I felt like I could hike in them the moment I put them on. Only issue is I feel like the arch support is pretty minimal so we'll see how my foot does on a longer hike. I also need to purchase an insert for it because these shoes are very hard inside

The fit is very secure. I changed out slightly thicker insoles and the bunion was not happy. Now, I know my feets ain't grown that bigly. So what's up with the boot sizing? I'm glad I went into the store and tried them on

I haven’t hiked in these yet, but I formerly used the Moab SHOE by Merrell, so I know they produce e a quality product that will last you years. My feet have NEVER hurt after a hike. When my trusty shoes wore out, I knew I wanted to order the boot version next for the ankle support and let me tell you: my ankles are so cozy in these boots!
