 I still needed to do my Vitamin C routine, so I did that. And yeah, this is what my skin looks like right now in morning. Day seven: my skin seems significantly less red than the night before, so I'm really happy for that. Um, the Vitamin C is really doing its work by brightening and evening out my redness

 So this is the eighth morning and it's my last day of doing the Vitamin C challenge and this is my final results. I definitely see that my skin is definitely looking better than before, especially one side of the face. It's definitely less hyper pigmented and I know it One week is not going to do much, but it is working because I see a little difference and I'll continue using this product because I really like it and hopefully we see some good results by like the three month mark you.

 All right. So I'm just gonna top it off with moisturizer and call it a night tonight. Guys, this is Day five in the Morning update and this is what my skin looks like. Without anything on today, I really see a difference in my skin

 Yeah, so I'm just gonna go in with four or five drops. As usual, I'm just gonna pat that in to my skin. I noticed that people have been experiencing a lot of like masking which is like inflammation and growing. You know, acne under a mask from using the mask for too long

 I’m also in the uk and got a vichy vitamin c serum from boots which was much cheaper and I thought did a good job of lightening some of my darker spots ! Just looked it up and it says 15% vitamin c. Both the skinceuticals one and the Vichy one have quite a sticky texture which I don’t really like but I have seen results. People love melano cc vitamin c which I also tried.

So far I am liking it, my skin is feeling soft and more even toned and brighter, but going to wait until I’ve used the whole bottle to decide whether It’s worth the price tag.. For those with leftover red marks from acne (PIH): Melano CC Essence. The packaging keeps the vitamin C stable for a long time, unlike traditional dropper style packaging from other brands. It’s gentle and feels oily initially, but after two minutes it feels like you didn’t even put anything on your face. Results aren’t instant, but after a month of daily AM use my acne marks had considerably faded

Care to share your beauty products, makeup, skincare, tips you can always trust in and swear by

 Overall, it’s a nice refreshing mist. I don’t regret purchasing it even though there’s cheaper facial mists out there.

Rant, Raves, and Mini Reviews May 2021

It's so affordable and one tube lasts forever. The packaging is great for everyday use and travel. Everything I've used from Rohto has been so good on my skin. Melano cc essence, shirojyun, even the hadalabo face wash - they're all gentle and kind to my skin

1 week difference with Melano CC daily. It's subtle but my hyperpigmentation usually takes months to fade, so this is huge to me. Skin type: dry, acne prone, south asian so very hyperpigmentation prone.

 This one has a more noticeable difference for me (and if I remember correctly I think it's cheaper per mL). It helps marks on my face heal faster, and it makes my skin more supple, plump, and glowy. I notice a difference if I haven't used it in a few days.

 I use it only about once a week at night, and skip using Differin when I do. I don't love the scent, smells a bit plastic-y but nothing unbearable.

 I also really like the consistency of it - it's thin and oily but absorbs really fast. I heard some people use it as spot treatment, but I just use it all over my entire face.

11. **TCFS PUMPKIN SLEEPING PACK**: This product has a super strong floral scent, so might be off putting to some folks. I personally love the scent, though. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all and does a really good job of giving my skin that extra boost in moisture, especially in the winter

[Misc] Drew the products I use throughout the week

For starters, I have combo skin that has a compulsory oily T-zone and nose and normal/stable everywhere else. I do tend to get a *little* pink around my cheek area or wherever else my face chooses to present me with a bright blemish that resembles a cooked cherry tomato.

* The reason for the 9.5 is that when I use it w/water, it’s incredibly slimy and kinda slides all over your face when you put it on with your fingers. When face isn’t damp, it’s incredibly tacky and sticky. I still love it, it’s just something you have to suffer through when using this

* The areas in which I used it most got so much brighter and smoother. For that reason, I warn those who use it to do so on either entire face or spot treatment because there will be some face discoloration as a result of brightening effects. I’ve also noticed that I get fewer acne flare ups in the spots that I use this product.

 I use this as a second step toner, as it’s water based and sits well underneath any product I put on afterwards, but be sure to let it absorb into skin for 5ish min. As it can create a sticky cocktail when mixed w/other products. It’s amazing as either a first layer moisturizer or as a stand alone last-step moisturizer depending on skin type.

I significantly helped repair my skin using mostly all AB products. I've never been so shameless about my skin in a mirror in my life. Review and details in comments

They won’t go away with time unfortunately, they need dermatologist assessment to find the right treatment plan to improve the look of the scars, seems like a lot of box scars rather than icepick. But most common treatments are laser and to improve texture tretinoin can be used. In the meantime, tyrosinase inhibitor like ascobic acid (I find the Melano CC is quite a good serum to start with) and a good UVAPF sunscreen can definitely improve the hyperpigmentation of the scars. All of this requires a lot of patience, and results can only been seen after months

 I went online and bought some immediately. It goes on as smoothly as water and is very spreadable. Every night that I use this, I wake the next morning with very hydrated skin, a dewy glow and my PIH is incredibly calmed down. I don't make these claims lightly because PIH and I have a butter relationship and I'm incredibly critical of products that claim "brightening" and for "dark marks"

 It doesn't feel like I put on a moisturizer at all. It glides in well but it just dries/absorbs matte. That said, this would be great for oily skin as it doesn't leave any sort of finish. I wasn't impressed by this and only use it as a neck cream since I wasn't ever going to use it as a daily moisturizer anyways
