 I still needed to do my Vitamin C routine, so I did that. And yeah, this is what my skin looks like right now in morning. Day seven: my skin seems significantly less red than the night before, so I'm really happy for that. Um, the Vitamin C is really doing its work by brightening and evening out my redness

 So this is the eighth morning and it's my last day of doing the Vitamin C challenge and this is my final results. I definitely see that my skin is definitely looking better than before, especially one side of the face. It's definitely less hyper pigmented and I know it One week is not going to do much, but it is working because I see a little difference and I'll continue using this product because I really like it and hopefully we see some good results by like the three month mark you.

 All right. So I'm just gonna top it off with moisturizer and call it a night tonight. Guys, this is Day five in the Morning update and this is what my skin looks like. Without anything on today, I really see a difference in my skin

 Yeah, so I'm just gonna go in with four or five drops. As usual, I'm just gonna pat that in to my skin. I noticed that people have been experiencing a lot of like masking which is like inflammation and growing. You know, acne under a mask from using the mask for too long

 I’m also in the uk and got a vichy vitamin c serum from boots which was much cheaper and I thought did a good job of lightening some of my darker spots ! Just looked it up and it says 15% vitamin c. Both the skinceuticals one and the Vichy one have quite a sticky texture which I don’t really like but I have seen results. People love melano cc vitamin c which I also tried.

So far I am liking it, my skin is feeling soft and more even toned and brighter, but going to wait until I’ve used the whole bottle to decide whether It’s worth the price tag.. For those with leftover red marks from acne (PIH): Melano CC Essence. The packaging keeps the vitamin C stable for a long time, unlike traditional dropper style packaging from other brands. It’s gentle and feels oily initially, but after two minutes it feels like you didn’t even put anything on your face. Results aren’t instant, but after a month of daily AM use my acne marks had considerably faded

 Overall, it’s a nice refreshing mist. I don’t regret purchasing it even though there’s cheaper facial mists out there.

It's so affordable and one tube lasts forever. The packaging is great for everyday use and travel. Everything I've used from Rohto has been so good on my skin. Melano cc essence, shirojyun, even the hadalabo face wash - they're all gentle and kind to my skin

1 week difference with Melano CC daily. It's subtle but my hyperpigmentation usually takes months to fade, so this is huge to me. Skin type: dry, acne prone, south asian so very hyperpigmentation prone.

The Cetaphil cleanser is fine, and so is the Dear, Klairs toner. I would cut out the Fresh products—they’re expensive for what they actually do. If you suffer from acne or want to exfoliate (the scrub is a physical exfoliant), consider adding a chemical exfoliant.

 It smells like your grandma's bathroom: so artificial and overwhelming, it almost takes your breath away. Why Cetaphil, why would you put such an strong artificial fragrance in your amazing face wash! Ugh. I'll finish this bottle and be forced to find a smell-less alternative if need be.

 I have loved Cetaphil products for years, and this facewash is included. It makes my oily skin feel clean but not dry, and it hasn't caused any breakouts. So why am I only giving this 3 stars?  THE FRAGRANCE. Oh my goodness gracious, it is WAY too strong for a face wash, especially one that is designed for all skin types

 I am pretty tough on my skin with the products I apply on a nightly basis, but I can imagine that people with sensitive skin might have a problem with the fake fragrance added into this product. That's a big no-no with skincare, a company like Cetaphil should know! They might make a fragrance-free version of this (holy crap do I hope so) but I got the smelly one. It smells like your grandma's bathroom: so artificial and overwhelming, it almost takes your breath away. Why Cetaphil, why would you put such an strong artificial fragrance in your amazing face wash! Ugh

PM: Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, Altreno (a new Tretinoin at .05% that is supposed to be a better formula for less drying, using \~ 1 month with no change), lastly Aquaphor because #sluglife. I also sometimes have to use Desonide (a steroid ointment .05%) around the eyes for these tiny trail breakouts all around the soft skin under my eyes?

* **The issue(s)** you need help with. It's helpful to put your questions at the top of your comment (especially if it's a long one)!

* **Skin type**. It's OK to be subjective, how do you feel your skin is? Oily, dry? If you need help clarifying, check out [this guide on skin types](https://theacidqueenblog.com/2016/06/23/skin-types-proclivities-and-conditions/)

* **Current routine** with the full names of your products (try to separate it in to Morning, Evening, and Occasionally used)

* **How long** you have been using your current routine, or product in question

* **Anything new** you’ve introduced or started doing that might change the condition of your skin

* **Your location** so we can recommend products/services available to you

The cleanser is not too harsh for a 50 + face. I have dry skin and just use this for makeup removal at the end of the day. It works well and do not leave my skin dry and tight. I was introduced to this item by my college age son

 So I used the 2nd bottle. And I love it. I have used department store cleanser ever since puberty. I am so used to spending a lot more for the department store cleanser that I am so surprise that my face feel great with this product
