Maximatic EAF9100 vs Oster DiamondForce Nonstick XL 5 Quart Digital Air Fryer

So now I have an extra appliance in use that I didn’t need to use with the old toaster oven. Also be aware just how tall this oven really is (16"). It takes up a lot of counter space (height-wise), so anyone with above counter cabinets will want to measure first to see if it will fit well, and still leave some air space above (4” is recommended). Bottom line—this oven bakes okay (convection/regular bake/air fry), but it requires constant vigilance while doing so

The only thing that I noticed, which I included a picture of, is an issue with the numbers on the dial. They have rubbed off which is kind of annoying as now you can't see where to adjust the temperatures. As soon as I realized this would be an issue I used my vinyl cutter to label the numbers again so we knew where they were. So while the product itself is good how can you possibly cook with it effectively if you can't see the temperature? Overall I am kind of split down the middle on this product as it works great, cleans up easy and has a great capacity but the numbers are rather vital and basically rubbed off after two or so uses

Also the silicone spacer around the basket get weak and fall off very easy as the heat weaken the rigidity. If you are very careful and nice with the basket this product is wonderful. Otherwise if Oster made a stronger basket and remove the button for release and create a slide lock, would be more safe for handling heavier items in the basket.

NO consistency. Burns everything unless you keep temp lower than recipes recommend, shorten the time, and watch carefully! Am buying another brand, SOON!

This one has a hard time cooking through quickly. Best looking air fryer huge easy clean basket / display looks premium. Quiet. But other systems cook food faster than this one

Feedback based upon my experience Pros - I can use it as air fryer and replace my old toaster oven with this one which saves kitchen space also. - 25 l size is good for our family - It is much healthier to cook fried food with air fryer vs deep fried in oil. - I am able to make very good fresh fries from potatoes. Kids love it

Using an air fryer is healthier than regular deep frying or even pan frying and super easy to use. It's been great for grilled styled vegetables, chicken, and especially wings. My favorite was the home version of bloomin onion. I even tried pizza rolls for 3 mins and it was like they just came out of the oven, but without the grease

The kids really love having chips done in the air fry basket, that's their new favorite :) Cleaning this is easy, all of the parts and pieces come out easily and the catch tray is the perfect fit for the bottom of the unit and it makes it really simple to take away the waste afterward. Overall a great air fryer unit with a tonne of options and possibilities, all at a great price. Highly recommended by me and my family, worth every penny! :)
