 Also, my copy had a fair amount of side to side blade play, no matter how I fiddled with tightening the pivot. On the positive note, the blade centering was perfect and as well as the amount of detente. Overall finish is tad rough but the S35VN blade seems well made and properly heat treated as it held up pretty well in hard use. I also bought the G-10 version which weighed at much better 4 oz

I swapped out one of the steel scales with G-10 one from the other knife and now both weigh in at acceptable 5 oz. And it looks pretty cool (see the pictures)

 For the price, this knife would have been great, almost perfect, if the steel scales were made out of lighter aluminium. As is, this thing weighs in at porky 6 oz. Way too heavy for 3.5 inch blade pocket knife

I really like this knife. It feels good, opens smoothly, locks firmly and comes razor sharp. It looks pretty sleek too. The ball bearing pivot is nice and smooth and this is a nice knife for the price, especially considering that it has an s30v blade
