We need to replace thick tiles with thin cards because thin cards are easy to carry, and because thin cards are easy to shuffle, and because thin cards have no engravings on the side that is face up to prevent from cheating by touch.

I filed for a replacement, and when the replacement came, I thankfully had the right cards. But there are also 2 rules pamphlets included, and in my replacement copy, I received two of the same pamphlets, rather than one for 2 player rules and one for multiplayer rules. I was able to take the missing pamphlet from my first defective copy, so not a big deal, but I'm just kind of shocked at how common mistakes like these are that it could happen twice in a row. Overall, highly recommend the game, but don't be surprised if you need to get a replacement due to poor quality control

They are required to pull a card from the deck until they have a card that they can play. This could mean the individual takes 1 card or has the risk of taking 16 cards.

Last game in my list is **The King Is Dead** (second edition). Ot's one of the most well-thought games built with only a bunch of components (few cards, tokens, single board, that's it). Great, great game. Big replay value, two ways to win, highly strategic

There is enough randomness in the game, that regardless of skill you may win or lose, which, again, is great for the kids. Given that it's roughly the size of two decks of cards, it's easy to throw in a bag to take on a trip.

Since new trade cards are drawn to replace purchased cards, you never know what’s going to come up making each game satisfying random and unpredictable. For you experienced deck-builder gamers out there, you’ll be pleased to know that yes, you can scrap cards to remove dead-weight from your deck. “Star Realms” starts out a bit slow (one damage here, two damage there) but after about fifteen minutes…whoa boy, watch the damage numbers fly! It quickly becomes a race to see who can out-damage the other guy (or girl) more quickly, making me rethink my strategy to invest in a lot of cards that yield money. Still, the player will have plenty to think about, what with the faction bonuses and the ever-changing pool of available trade cards
